Summer Lipstick: Barry M Peachy Pink

As many of you know and as I have mentioned before Barry M lipsticks are very hit and miss, one may have a very creamy formula and another a drying one depending on the colour. Sadly 147.Peachy pink is one of the more drying consistencies however I love the colour and paired with a lipgloss it can look amazing as seen here.

It is a coral colour which appears different depending on the lighting and can be changed to either extreme orange or pink simply by adding a lipgloss.

I still love this lipstick and am planning to wear it throughout summer; this must be worn with a lip balm and preferably a lipgloss as well. I think this lipstick really fits the pastel trend of this summer.

What do you think? Do you like Barry M lipsticks?

  1. I love this! I have 100 and 101 and they're both a bit drying but really nice with lipgloss.
Will have to give this one a go :)

  2. I have one Barry M lipstick which is the 101 and hate it! Totally put me off from buying any more of their lippies. Such a shame really as they have some lovely colours like this one. Maybe I should try some other shades before I totally give up on them! x

  3. I love this colour but you're right it is so drying. I can't wear it. I noticed recently that Costa Chic by MAC is basically the same as this colour. I have Costa Chic so was able to sell my one of these.

  4. I have the 101, 100 and the 129 and although some can be drying I think you have to work with them :) I think I may add this to my wishlist, its look perfect for summer and is a step away from my usual nude lip.
    Thanks for posting :).

  6. This colour is super cute! It's a great dupe for many a MAC lippie. I haven't actually tried many Barry M lipsticks, but I definitely need to try them out now! That colour is perfect for spring.

  7. I've never tried Barry M, but this color is so pretty. And you're right it would look even better with a gloss.

  8. I do! I happened to have bought one on every vacation in the UK ^^

147 is really exiting, you describe the color so well. Also, lipgloss or balm is a must for me there too.
Palest Lavender I wear on its own, lighly applied, 101 Marshmallow is also not too drying but a little too light for me on its own imo, but so great with other lipsticks.
The lippaints are just really cute & work well, Im sure I'll pick up other shades in the future.
