FrontCover AirKiss

I was invited down to the Frontcover event a couple of weeks back to see all their new gift sets that were out in time for Christmas. I was very impressed with so many but when I got the chance to pick my own i chose the AirKiss one a modestly priced one at £20 and filled with 20 mini lipsticks, a lip brush and a lip liner. There were a few others that looked amazing but lipstick and blush are totally my think so since they don’t have a blush set I had to go for the lipstick set.

The magazine style box comes with an array of colours from lilacs, corals, bright pinks to reds. It has a set of step-by-step guides as well as tips and stunning photos! The lip pencil comes in the colour nude which is great as I feel I can wear it under all of the lipsticks and the lip brush is a retractable one, its okay but not the best one I have tried. Frontcover are also very proud that all the photos on both the front and inside of the box have been produced using only the products inside the box, no cheating! Meaning you can definitely create all the looks with the content of the box.

The packaging of the mini lipsticks is pretty standard clear plastic cases, what you often get as sample lipsticks in drugstores but I know that some brands sell their lipstick in very similar packaging and since you are essentially paying under £1 for each lipstick you can’t really complain. The actually lipsticks are quite good, the top lighter colours don’t work too well on me as they are a little light and slightly sheer but the darker colours are beautiful! I was very surprised about the quality considering the price, they are creamy and moisturising- lovely to wear!

Cats Nose, chintz, Blossom, Violaceous, Hyacinth

Net Curtain, Peach Puff, Miss Brown, Rhubarb, Amaranthine

Roseate Tern, Glow Worm, Roseceaous, Charred, Firework

Pink Papaya, Arson, Liz Red, Santa, Red Cork

I think this set is perfect as both a gift or just something you buy for yourself especially if you like you are looking to experiment with new colours or are looking to try lipsticks for the first time the range of shades is fantastic and there will be a few to suit everyone!

My favourite are Cork, Charred and Amaranthine but I am sure I will be using lots of them! This is available from Boots at just £20 and is even part of the 3 for 2 Christmas offer so take a look at some of the other sets they would make perfect gifts!

I actually looked at all the new FrontCover collections yesterday. I had high hopes after getting an amazing eye shadow and brush kit for Christmas last year, but found that this year's palettes aren't that great and definitely a downgrade.
The lipsticks looked a bit flimsy – did you use them directly out of the bullet or did you use a lip brush?

I had two front cover sets for christmas last year, one was nailvarnishes and one was eyeshadows. I love them! Such lovely colours.
