Glitter Nails: GOSH Nail Glitter

Since I have such a glitter nail polish addiction at the moment I will be writing a small little series of post about which ones I have been trying out. Since its the holiday season it will hopefully attract a few of you and help you find the perfect glitter polish!

Today’s product isn’t strictly a glitter polish but it will give you glittery nails. A couple of months GOSH released Nail Glitters in eight different colours.

They are very fine glitters which you dip your nail into after applying a clear polish to your nails and it is as easy as that!

The effect is different to that of a glitter nail polish as you apply the gloss under the colour the glitter is almost matte although it is still very sparkly. I am in two mind about this product since I can achieve full on glittery nails I love this product but it does have its down sides! The fact that it is only stuck on by the polish below unlike most nail polishes means that is doesn’t quite last as long and if you did try to add a top coat you would fill the nail polish with the lose glitter left on the nail. As you can tell by my pink nail the tip isn’t perfect this is because as my nails are so long by the time I reach the bottom of the tub the tip polish has been pushed back meaning there is nothing for the glitter to stick to (you won’t have this problem if your nails are shorter.)

Left-Right: 02 Gold, 13 Topaz Lavender and 05 Ruby Red
Overall I do quite like this product it is different to traditional glitter nail polish and achieves a different effect but it does come with its down sides as well as being quite messy to apply.
They retail for £3.99 from Superdrug

I can’t wait to show you some more glitter polishes!

I'm sure I've seen these done to create 'dusted' kind of designs on the tips of nails, like the lavender on the tips of black varnish. Would have loved to have seen you tried this and let us know how tricky it is!! x

I love all of the colours, theyre so glitzy! but everytime i've picked these up in superdrug, i've put them back down again on the basis that i reckon the glitter will "molt" and go everywhere! then youd have patchy glitter y nails 🙁 not a good look! xxxx

I've got the ruby red gosh glitter, and it is a right ain to get off but I'm loving the Topaz Lavender, To get around the problem of long nails, I tipped a little of the glitter into the lid of the glitter tub, and then dusted it over the top of the nail

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of
the images aren't loading correctly. I'm not sure why but I think
its a linking issue. I've tried it in two different browsers and both show the same outcome.
