Christmas Gifts: Candles

Yesterday’s post spoke about how I think any Christmas Beauty gift should ooze luxury and another fabulous gift which I think you should splash out on are candles. Very few people (I think) buy themselves expensive candles but no only do they smell and look great they are very indulgent and luxurious! I find candles extra special in winter, there is something warming and homely about them this is why I think they make a perfect Christmas gift!

Pearl Lowe for DP
I’m not saving the best until last today, this is my favourite candle everything about it is beautiful! It smells amazing, looks amazing,  is completely organic and includes nothing nasty! They come in a few different scents so there will be something that you will love. £30 available from ASOS also check out the mini set

 The White Company
The White Company sells fabulous candles, I currently have the Peony Candle which is another organic beautiful soft floral scent. It comes in a perfect little box that looks great when giving it as a present but also when storing it. At £20 it is very affordable but if you want something extra special try the large three wick candle.

Eve Taylor Wild Fig & Grape
I actually thought this candle was a much more expensive then it is! Although slightly harder to get this candle is also slightly different to other candles I own. It is 100% natural, has a low melting point and can be used as a luxurious moisturiser on hands, feet and arms! And it is a bargain at £12.59

Neom Luxury Organics
Neom is quite a new brand but has quickly become very popular within the beauty community. It’s a perfect light feminine scent that comes packaged in a elegant box, once again it is 100% organic and very affordable at £13.

And if you want something slightly cheaper for yourself try Ikea, TU at Sainsburys and Primarks candles they come in a variety of scents and are very affordable!

Although I do believe that you are better of spending a little more and purchasing a fabulous quality organic candle which will look nice after you have blown it out and is healthier for you too as it has no paraffin wax as it is a harmful chemical.

What is your favourite candle? Would you like a candle for Christmas?

I love warm/spicy scents for winter. I recently purchased a Glade Apple & Cinnamon candle from Tesco, buy 1 get two free, so I also purchased Winter Berries and Glistening Snow! One in the bedroom, kitchen and living room now so the whole house smells Wintery! Great post, enjoyed reading xoxo

There's nothing like lighting a nice scented candle on a winter evening. Add a cup of hot tea and some Christmas lights and who needs summer?

I always love getting candles! I love the packaging of the Pearl Lowe candle..My favs are Voluspa and Slatkin and Co..I personally don't like IKEA candles – I have purchased them in the past on a whim and they smell very artificial. I used to buy L'Occitane candles all the time but they literally last about a week and it got to be an expensive habit! Great post 🙂

I love candles, and my last favourite is called Cinnamon Spice, which is really sweet and not really spicy! It's from TK Maxx, don't remember the name of the brand though.

I was actually thinking of getting a Neom candle for my sister as a Christmas present! I think they are also organic, so they don't give out that nasty black smoke 🙂
