The two YSL lipsticks I own are from two different ranges, I have one from the Voulpte Sheer Candy range which comes in the silver packaging and which, as the name suggests, is gives a sheer wash of colour. The other lipstick, in the gold tube, is from the Rouge Volupte range which gives a more opaque colour and seems to be the more popular range.
Both lipsticks are moisturising (the sheer one is the most moisturising) but do need to be applied regularly- however that’s a good excuse to show of the pretty tube! The colour I own in the Voulpte Sheer Candy range is Luscious Cherry which is a sheer red/pink which is perfect for the summer. My newest one is the Rouge Volupte in Rose Culte which is also a pink/red however it is far more pigmented. Surprisingly Rose Culte, although a very bright colour still looks very sophisticated.
I love both colours however I only reach for the Sheer Candy lipstick in the summer. I will be buying myself another Rouge Volupte very soon in a lighter pink for everyday, maybe Lingerie pink.
These lipsticks are pricey at £23.50 each but are so beautiful and would make a perfect present!
