Holiday Beauty Hotlist

I have been challenged by VoucherCodes.co.uk most wanted to put together my beauty essentials for a summer holiday for under £70. (Which is much harder than it sounds!)

When planning a holiday away the first beauty item that comes to mind is of course Sun Cream. I love Piz Buin but it can get quite expensive as a cheaper alternative I like the Boots Soltan products and they’re often buy one get one free. Chose either SPF 50, 30 or 15 and why not pick up a free after sun too.
Soltan Moisturising Sun Care Spray £5.49 & Soltan Aftersun Hydrating Lotion £4.99 (Currently BOGOF £5.49 for both)
People often forget about protecting their lips but why not pick up a lip balm with SPF. This year I used the Elizabeth Arden Lip Protectant with SPF15 but another one of my favourite lip balms is the Carmex Strawberry tube which also has SPF 15 and retails for just £1.27
I don’t usually use Makeup Remover wipes but as I wear less makeup on holiday I don’t mind them too much and this they are really handy to carry around. These Simple ones are just £2 which is a great price!
I think makeup should be kept quite simple in the summer especially on holiday- I like dewy skin, eyeliner, lots of mascara and a little colour of the cheek.Surprisingly my favourite bases this summer was The Body Shop All-in-One BB Cream as its dewy, moisturising and offers good coverage. It doesn’t have any SPF so I would recommend popping some sun cream underneath for day time. £12
I quite like the Soap & Glory eyeliner as I find it to be lovely and soft as well as super black. At £4 I think its really great and even comes with a sharpener
I always rave about 2000 Calorie Mascara by Max Factor and the waterproof one is the perfect mascara to take on holiday. Its only £4.99 so even if you do accidentally leave it by the pool you won’t have lost a high end product.
I don’t have too much to say about Batiste dry shampoo its pretty self explanatory. I just love it! £1.45
You always need a super bright nail polish for fingers and toes on holiday and this Models Own Head Candy Polish in Beach Party is my idea of the perfect summer colour. £5
I haven’t actually tried these myself but I think picking up a mini shampoo and conditioner to take away is always a good idea as full size ones often weigh a lot. These caught my eye the most as its especially designed for sun exposed hair- let me know if you have tried them! £1.99 each
This might be hard to believe but one of my favourite inexpensive blushers is just £1.99. I think the Natural Collection blushers are great and perfect to take on holiday!
I took some of these little Sanctuary Sachets on holiday my self and I really love them! The products are great and the size makes them really easy to carry but they still have a lot of product in them. £1.75 for Salt Scrub & £2 for Hair treatment
Soap & Glory Products are always a treat to use, this little body wash smells divine for just £2.50!
I know Clinique isn’t an inexpensive brand but I am still within budget! I loved using my Clinque sun block on holiday and I think if you are going to splash out on one product it has to be face sun cream. The last thing you want to do is burn your face especially as it will age you the quickest. £16
And simply bevies I have a few pounds to spare going to throw in a bright coloured lip crayon by TopShop in Hendonist £7.
And my grand total is….. £69.42
What would you take on holiday?

I really want to try The Body Shop's BB cream. I am a fan of them & this one is meant to be great. Carmex has always been a firm fave of mine. It always leaves my lips feeling soft.
This is a great post. Some fab items there. I thought this would cost alot more than that.

That's quite feat and you've got 58p spare. This is a really good challenge, a good project from voucherCodes.co.uk.
