Products Hannah Can’t live without

Hello! I’m Hannah and I blog over at little_wood, so you can get to know me a little I thought I’d share my products I can’t live without. These are the beauty products I have repurchased time and time again, the real staples of my collection that I use on a daily basis and simply, can’t live without!

My favourite part of the day is coming home and taking my make-up off, I love the feeling of having a clean, fresh face after washing the days dirt away. My must have skincare essentials come from the ever popular Liz Earle range. I love the thick, creamy consistency of the Cleanse & Polish hot cloth cleanser and how is effortlessly removes all my make-up, leaving my skin soft, smooth and comfortable. I always follow this up by spritzing my face with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic which helps to refresh and calm my skin ready for moisturising. Then for my favourite product, the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser, for me this is the stand out product in the range. I find this moisturiser works so well for my skin, its a lovely high hydration cream but feels so light on the skin, sinking in quickly and leaving no sticky residue. As well as hydrate, this moisturiser balances and smooths and the rich natural fatty acids found in the borage and avocado oils nourish and help to repair the skin. Since using this skincare routine my skin has never looked and felt better, I will continue to trust Liz Earle to look after my skin for a very long time.
When It comes to make-up I love to buy and try new products but there are a few products in my collection that are definite non movers. A foundation I have used for the last couple of year is the BareMinerals original mineral powder. I was dubious at first to try mineral foundation as I expected the powder consistency to looking dry and cakey on my skin, however it was love at first try! Once buffed into the skin the powder creates a flawless natural looking canvass that doesn’t look like a powder.  The reason I love this foundation so much is because of its versatility, each application gives a slightly higher coverage meaning you can customise the amount of coverage you need that day, its great for light coverage in summer, high in winter or on nights out and somewhere in between for everyday.

Having olivey toned skin I find a peach toned blush suits me best, my favourite has got to be MAC’s Melba. The colour is defiantly peach but has the right amount of pink undertones to stop it being “orange” It’s a lovely light consistency powder than can be layered on for more colour and looks great with a tan for the summer months.

Dry lips are my pet hate and without my Lush Lip scrub my lip products never look perfect. Every morning I use this oil and sugar scrub to buff away dry flakey skin leaving a smooth canvass for my lipstick. It’s a simple concept but it works a treat! This one is the Bubblegum flavour lip scrub, neon pink and tastes yummy!
I have used Bourjois Volume clubbing mascara since I probably started wearing mascara. Not everyone is a fan of its extreme outcome but if you love thick voluminous lashes like me then this mascara ticks all the boxes. At first glance wand looks like any old thick mascara brush but on closer inspection the wand has flat sides allowing you to really scoop on the product then brush through with the bristles. The formula is great, tested by clubbers its stands the test of heat, humidity and sweat to stay put all day long, no panda eyes here! The best thing about this mascara is unlike some other smudge proof competitors, it comes off easily with a normal non oily make up remover, hurrah!

Huge thank you to Hannah for a great post, some of the products she spoke about happen to also be my favourites! Don’t forget to follow her blog here
