Railcard Giveaway

I will admit this is a very weird giveaway to have on a beauty blog but I am trying to expand and do more fashion and lifestyle posts so when National Rail offered to give one of my lovely readers a year long rail card I had to say yes. I’ve had a rail card for 2years now and have got so much use out of it! I use it to get to university and even to travel on the tube and bus in London by buying a travel card. As I know a lot of my readers are students I think this is a great giveaway as I am hoping it will save one of you a fair but of money with up to 1/3 off.

More info…
Rail card will be re-demable online only (therefore can not be redeemed by mature students)
Must between the ages 16-25 (as it is a young persons rail card)
Giveaway closes Saturday 6th October 2012 at Midnight (BST)
Leave your email or twitter below (so you can be contacted if you win)
Leave me a comment below letting me know where you would use your Rail Card to travel to.

Good Luck!

They are also running a great giveaway of 6 rail tickets on Facebook here which is worth a look!

Ahh best giveaway EVER. We don't have to be a student to enter, do we?

I would use it to make visiting my parents cheaper – Colin and I are saving up for a mortgage at the moment so it would make life a lot easier if I could save some money on train tickets to see mum and dad every few weeks!

    Thanks 🙂 x

This is probably one of the most useful giveaways ever! I'd use the railcard to travel between uni and home – this is my 6th year at university and I hardly ever get to see my family! On top of that it'd be nice to travel to see my friends who are all over the country! 🙂

Ah this could potentially help me so much. I'm at uni in Edinburgh which is an 8 hour train journey away from my home town and as a result is a very pricey ticket. I had a railcard for the past three years through the bank but they don't provide one for 4th year even though all degrees at 4years in Scotland soooo I would love to have one to help my purse for the last year.

I personally think this is a great giveaway!
I'd use this to expand my blog basically. I get invited to a few blog events but I can never afford to go because the train fare is so expensive. So I'd use it to go to blog events because I live in the Midlands and they're mainly all in London 🙁
Also, one of my friends lives in Scotland and I haven't seen him in a very long time. So I'd go and see him there too 🙂

This is such a good giveaway!

I'm going to London at the end of October, so this would be so handy! Also i travel back and forth between Leeds and Leicester for uni and it always costs a lot of money so i don't often visit home. It'd be nice to be able to afford a few more trips and to visit friends at other unis too!
    Thanks 🙂

Ahh, i think this is such a good giveaway 🙂

My Uni is wicked, but in the middle of nowhere, which makes travelling to any sort of city for beauty products a bit of a drag. I'd use mine to travel to London and do a massive crazy shopping spree, and possibly visit the boyfriend if i have a spare minute 🙂 xx

  34. 2nd October 2012 / 8:37 pm

Beauty giveaway are always fun but practical ones like this are good stuff 🙂
If I won, I'd use the card to travel to uni. As it is, I need a new one as mine ran out last week!

I would use it to get to uni every day. At the moment I'm taking the bus as it's cheaper, but it takes over an hour each journey. With the rail card it'd be so much easier and cheaper for me!

This would probably save me a lot of money and time and is probably one of the best competitions that I've entered as of yet this year!
I'm at University over two and a half hours away from where I live; train tickets are expensive and this means that I can rarely get home to see my family due to my student loan just not quite covering these costs. If I were to win this train card, it would vastly help but taking just a few pounds off of the price of a ticket for me.
I would be beyond grateful to be chosen as a winner for this.
Thank you for giving us such a helpful and useful opportunity!

I would use this railcard in order to go to London, because I have always wanted to go to London, but have never had the opportunity to go. I am in love with the image of London I have created in the last 15 years and would love to see it before my eyes.
