Brighton Pier

Yesterday my friend and I decided to take a trip down to Brighton. I had actually never been but since it isn’t too far from London we jumped in my car and off we went. In reality it took almost three hours as I live in North London and getting through the traffic in Central London really slowed us down!

When we arrived we got lunch in Bill’s which was very delicious and fulling. I actually really like the chocolate desert at Bill’s but after sharing a Garlic Bread and having a Bill’s Burger each we were very full and set off to explore the lanes. We didn’t buy much just some christmas tree ornaments and I got a Cath Kidston Christmas Craft book (let me know if you are interested!)

I then remember the Biba and beyond Exhibition was still on at the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery. If I am honest I didn’t know too much about the iconic 60’s brand but I learnt so much from the Exhibition and I would really recommend it. It had videos, clothes, photos and even makeup! If you study/love fashion I would highly recommend it, I didn’t get a chance to look around the rest of the Museum but I would of liked to.

We then went to the Pier, of course it was freezing but the lights made it look so very pretty!

Wearing: Hat, Jumper & Jeans- Primark, Jacket- Oasis, Bag- Zara

And some Starbuck Toffee Nut Lattes in the Christmas Cups for the road…

I would really recommend Brighton as a day trip and am already hoping to go back, I had such great fun and got to explore somewhere I had never been! If you are from London it is only a couple of hours drive, just over an hour from Croydon but a little longer from North London.

I would love some recommendations of things to see/do in London as well as other cities to visit! I am going to Newcastle this month too so I’d love somethings to do there.

I'm a little bit jealous. When I lived in Oxford for one summer I had the chance to go to Brighton, but I didn't go, because I was too sleepy that day. Looks like I missed something πŸ˜‰

I went to Brighton for the first time this year, in July when there was the heat wave! Only spent the day there and can't wait to go back πŸ™‚
