Chanel Lipstick: Candeur & Chintz

 To say I have far too many lipsticks would probably be an understatement but still the ones I love most have to be my YSL and Chanel lipsticks. There is just something so special about the packaging (need to add a Tom Ford one to my collection!)

My two recent Chanel additions are Chintz (Left) & Candeur (right) which are both very pretty pinks.

Candeur is a Rouge Coco Shine and is a very pale neutral pink, although quite sheer you can built it up to get quite an opaque coverage. The formula feels very lightweight on the lipstick almost like a  balm but isn't particularly hydrating. I wouldn't say it is the most amazing lipstick every, especially for Chanel, but it is a very pretty everyday, easy-to-wear lipstick.

Chintz is a Rouge Coco(Left) and seems to be quite popular with many. The colour is in my opinion a little nicer than Candeur, a still quite pale peachy pink. It is also very light weight and creamy but only last an hour or so. For me, especially in winter I find it apply quite patchy, it's probably because the cold dries out my lips and it's creamy texture also means applying too much is very easy. It is one of those colours which I would reach for if I were going out and had quite strong eye makeup.

I would love to try a few more Chanel Lipstick ones, preferably ones that offer more coverage. I also found that the lipstick have a slight rose scent which although most people wouldn't mind actually really bothers me as it tickles my throat.
