Boots Make It Happen

According to new research the nation is feeling more positive about achieving  their health and beauty guide. Personally I am so over the quest of a skinny body and instead I'm searching for a healthy body. I've started making healthier choices, juicing and just trying to get my body, skin and mind into better shape before summer.
As I am sure many of you are also looking to achieve your health and beauty goals I though I would share Boots new campaign 'Let's Make It Happen' which has been set up to help us all achieve our goals.

Finding out what changes you need to make to achieve your goal is often quite difficult (how do you get perfect skin?) Boot's Let's Make It Happen is here to help! They are offering support, product information and more to help you get closer to your end goal.

Staying motivated and finding inspiration can often be very difficult so I have to find different wats to keep myself motivated to achieve my beauty and health goals. I have created a Pinterest Board called #BootsLetsMakeItHappen to pin my current inspiration and product wishlist to help me reach my goals which I am also sharing with you. If you want to make your own #BootsMakeItHappen Pinterest Board, Boots will also be sharing their favourites on their Facebook Page and I'd love to see your boards too!

Boots have partnered up with Mumsnet and various radio stations and everything is hosted on The Feel Good Forum if you want to have a listen.

What are your current beauty and health goals?

Exam season

As much as I would LOVE to sit at home all day and blog it is currently exam season for me so I will be instead concentrating on that. I have so many new skirt, pretty nail polishes and adventures I want to share with you but currently I instead need to find out a way to remember all I know about market research and complete all my fashion coursework.

If you too are in uni I know it is extremely hard to get motivate and revise, it always makes me want to drop out but just push through it's only a couple of exams and a few more years at most (it's finally my last year!)

When I finish in two weeks I will be blogging almost everyday and sharing some more exciting posts than  before.

You may see an odd post here or there from me until then but follow me on Instagram and Twitter to be kept up to date.

See you in a few weeks!
Good luck with exams everyone!

Eucerin Even Brighter Results

I've blogged about Eucerin Even Brigther a few times now and I always get a good response in the comments as it seems so many of you love it. It's been 8 weeks since my mother started using it in the hope it would fade her hyperpigmenation and it is time to share her results.

Eucerin Even Brighter aims to reduce hyperpigmenation and enhance the skins natural radiance (who doesn't want that?!). I mentioned previously that my mum is very skeptical when changing creams but took well to both the Even Brighter Day and Night cream. It hydrated her skin well and it seems to be much brighter now. The cream itself is quite thick and moisturising which is great for a slightly older skin (my mum is in her early 40's for reference)

The range also comes with a Brighter Spot Corrector which is a serum that is applied twice a day to small areas of hyperpigmentation such as age and sun spots. The applicator is a small doe foot one meaning you can apply it very precisely although it is harder to target slightly larger areas.

End thoughts
I wouldn't say the picture really shows the whole story but my mum didn't want her whole face on my blog so we currently just have a tiny section of her skin. The biggest different in her skin is how much more radiant it looks and even less irritated, the pigmentation has lightened and overall looks younger and healthier.

My mum has already recommended it to a few friends so I think it is safe to say it is a great cream to try if you are looking to add more radiance and reduce hyperpigmentation.

Have you tried it yet?

Revlon Nail Art Pens+ Nail art Idea

I feel that Manicure Monday just isn't enough, especially as I have so many amazing nail polishes waiting to be swatched and blogged about. Everyone seems to be 'doing' nail art again and I have a few posts coming up with ideas and tools but today I will be talking about the new Revlon Nail Art Pens.
There are 3 ranges; Neon, Moon Candy and Art Expressionist with either 6/7 polishes pairs in each range. The neon range all comes with a white base coat which goes under the colour to make the colour a opaque and very bight colour. The art expressionist range I still haven't tried, it comes with one wide, flat brush to add the base coat and a thinner brush which allows you to do more intricate work and patterns. The Moon Candy duos are made up of a darker colour and a glitter polish.
I had a play with one of the Neon duos in Hot Flash and came up with the design.
1) I started with two coats of the white which applied really well.
2) Mapped out a V shape on each nail and filled around it. (I done mine sitting on the sofa hand in midair so it isn't perfect)
3)After the orange coats was dry I added the different shapes to achieve a leopard print look using a nail art pen (black liquid liner works just as well)

I must admit this isn't the neatest job ever but it is really easy to do and I am pretty impressed by the quality of the polish particularly the white.
Have a look here for a similar design!

Also tried a Moon Candy Polish at the event which are also fab!

What do you think of the polishes? Will you be giving them a go?
Each duo retails for £7.99 from Boots and Superdrugs

Manicure Monday Bourjous Amande Defile & Adora Bleu

Yay it is my favourite day of the week! Manicure Monday!
Today I am sharing two new colours from Bourjois which are perfect for the spring and part of the new 8 shade collection recently released. Both shades were by far my favourite out of the collection, I think a little bit of sun is the perfect excuse for green and blue nails.
 Adora Bleu
Bourjous describe this colour as a 'bleched blue' as I think it is quite a white colour (does that make sense) it is one of those shades that looks fabulous and really enhances a tan. I am a sucker for blue polish but this may be one of my favourites!
 Amande Defile
Initially I thought this colour would be my favourite and it is a great pastel green however it just didn't apply as perfectly as I had hoped even after three coats. The colour however is great so I will give it a few more go's and maybe try a white polish underneath it.
Both colours are beautiful and so far my favourite spring nail polish finds of the year!
and if you're looking for some fun nail art why not try these...
(The photo above is a little messy but I will be sharing a better and easier technique to achieve the look soon)

Each polish retails for £5.99 from Boots, Superdrugs and other Bourjois retailers

Which is your favourite colour?
