January 2014 Beauty Favourites

This month I have really started to try new products more than ever and have found some really great products from inexpensive products to slightly higher end products.

The two foundations I have been loving are Armani Luminous Silk and L’oreal True Match. There is obviously a huge price difference but they are quite similar although the L’oreal may be slightly more matte. I adore the Luminous Silk as it gives the perfect finish (although I suspect it may be breaking me out) but for a fraction of the price L’Oreal is a great alternative. I especially like using the True Match foundation as I like to apply foundation with the Real Technique sponge which does naturally soak up a little bit of product so a less expensive product is better in my opinion.

As a concealer/highlighter I’ve been loving the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer as it doesn’t look cakey at all and is perfect for bringing light to the face. To set it all I’ve been using the new Benefit Porefessional Agent Anti-shine before contouring with the B Cosmetics Contour Kit which is surprisingly good. I have also rediscovered Angel Lipstick by Mac which is the perfect pale pink!

Other favourites are the Vaseline Spray & Go and the Soap & Glory Smoothie Body Butter which has helped me keep my resolution to always moisturise. I was also pleasantly surprised by how much I love Bumble and bumble Pret-a-powder, not only does it smell amazing but it’s great at plumping up the hair without being sticky. The Orly Won’t Chip top coat has also been a great addition, the ultimate top coat for super glossy and polished nails.

I really want to try both foundations though as I've heard the True Match is very similar I'll probably be going for that first πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing your favorites! It's always great to see what other bloggers have been loving!

I was planning to buy the Armarni Luminious silk soon because i heard that it is amazing and worth the price. However, i do really like my L'oreal true match foundation alot but find it too dewy and not much oil control for my skin, therefore not too sure if the Luminous silk would last long enough for me! I do like how it hasn't got any SPF in it though which makes it perfect for nights out and photograph!

Thank you for sharing your january favourites~ Have a wonderful day! <3

I've heard several people say that Luminous Silk and True Match are similar. I love both but I don't find them that similar on my skin! I think it depends on your skin type πŸ™‚ But I love both of them!
