The Saturday Post: 5 Things to do This Weekend #4

1. Treat yourself to a 'duvet day' and indulge in breakfast in bed.
It seems like it has been raining for days (it has, hasn't it?!), which seems like the perfect excuse to not leave the house! Stay in your PJ's all day and have breakfast in bed.

2. Dress up your favourite warm, wooly jumper
I love the contrast of a thick wooly jumper with a feminine pencil skirt or court shoe. It's the perfect way to stay warm but still look put-together!

3. Re/discover a good series
I much prefer a series to a film and am always on the look for something new to watch or rewatching old favourites, especially in the winter months! My top three are Sex and the City, Gossip Girl and Hart of Dixie but I'm currently rewatching Friends and would also recommend; 90210, New Girl, 2 Broke Girls, Keeping up with the Kardashians and Cougar Town. I'd love to hear your recommendations in the comments below!

4. Plan your Valentine's day
I'd be lying if I said I am huge lover of Valentine's day, there are just far too many people everywhere for my liking! However if you are planning to do something it's best to get planning now as everywhere gets booked up so quickly and if you're single why not plan a nice night in with all your single friends watching some great movies and drinking cocktails?

  1. I'm currently snoozing in bed in my PJs because it's such a sad rainy day. Later today I'm headed to the seaside to visit my friend who will be giving birth to her twin girls any day now. Which reminds me I still need to wrap the gifts. I'm going for a relaxing weekend with friends and family; those are the best ones in my opinion anyway

  2. I'm having a 'me' day, going to take myself for a wax, a manicure, a coffee and a bit of brunch with a book and run some errands I've been putting off all week. Tomorrow I'm taking myself swimming and general home pampering, washing my hair etc! My boyfriend's working all weekend yay and boo at the same time!

  12. I loove your Saturday posts. I usually discover blogs I love because of that :) This weekend I have been watching Agatha Christie's Poirot! It might not be the girliest show but I used to watch it in a period when I felt more in control of my life and I try to emulate that feeling again ;)
