Affordable & Easy Spring Makeup Look

In the past orange and coral tones use to scare me a little but now that the sun is out and I’ve lightened my hair a little it seems like the perfect spring time look. However if it isn’t a look you’ve ever tried I put together a look using my favourite affordable makeup items so you can give it a go with no huge commitments.

I obviously started with my L’Oreal True Match Foundation, at the moment I can’t get enough of this foundation and love applying it with a damp sponge followed by my Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer. Eyebrows and liner were done like usual using Soap & Glory Brow Archery and Topshop liner and mascara.

I then had the task of finding the perfect affordable peach lip and cheek. I had a beautiful Sleek Blush however it was a little too orange for me and instead when for a more subtle but equally as beautiful The Body Shop Blush in Macaron over Bourjois Cream Blush in 02. I then wanted to add a little of a summer glow and reached for the Revlon Photoready Skinlights as a highlighter (shade Bare Light) which I love as it’s a cream and super easy to apply.

To finish I applied The Body Shop Colour Crush in 18. Sunset Romance underneath No7 BB Lips in Blush Coral. The look is still quite natural but just a little more summery. I love how quick this look is and have been recreating it daily.

What look have you been going to this spring?
