Brazilian Beauty Bits

With the World Cup 2014 starting in just a few hours I thought I would talk about some Brazil Inspired Beauty Collections as well some products with Brazilian Ingredients.

Initially when I think what Brazil has given to the beauty world I think of Brazilian Bikini Wax (essential but ouccch!) and Brazilian Blow Dries. They have both gained cult status in the beauty world and I can’t imagine it without it.

However Brazil also gives us the Soya which is found in many of The Body Shops beauty products such as the industry favourite , , and the .

In terms of Brazil inspired collections we naturally had a few, my favourite three were by OPI, Kiko and Clarins. I haven’t personally tried the OPI Brazil 2014 collection but you can and they really do have some beautiful colours.

From Clarins I have already mentioned the Colour of Brazil Collection which includes on of Clarins must-have large bronzers perfect for taking the Brazilian glow but also an eyeshadow palette which is a stand out product. The palette inspired by the Brazilian Beaches comes with three core brown/neutral shades, a surprisingly wearable orange as well as a stunning blue which is perfect to add a pop of colour.

The Kiko Collection Life in Rio is also a great one to check out, it also has a huge bronzer with a little more shimmer which will really help highlight the face. I am also in love with the Cream Exotic Shine Lipsticks which come in the two most perfect summer colours and the Turquoise Tropical Waterproof Eyeliner would also look amazing in the Brazilian Heat.

And I couldn’t talk about Brazil without mentioning their amazing Havaiana’s and showing you my new bright orange pair, now all I need is a tan to go with them!

Are you excited for the start of the World Cup? Who will you be supporting?
I will be cheering on Portugal and I am rather excited!

Every time I see that palette I fall more in love with the deep, royal blue. I don't even think I'd be brave enough to wear it as anything but a liner, but I need it nonetheless!

Those lipsticks shades are so pretty! Alas, I don't think we can get Kiko here in Asia. 🙁
