May Favourites

I am completely baffled by the fact we are half way through the year, how is that possible? I have found myself not really wearing quite as much makeup now that it’s getting warmer

Maybelline Forever Uptown Blue
I love this shade at the moment and have been wearing it on my fingers and toes. It also lasts a good 6/7 with no chips which is a huge plus! (Review Here)

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette £29
Oh yes another eyeshadow palette, what can I say, I’m obsessed. This one has is probably top 3 palette status and I will be taking it away with me this month. Its versatile with a mixture of mattes and shimmers but since they are all largely brown it means I’ll actually use them all!

Liz Earle Brow and Liner Brush £12.50
It’s probably not going to change your life but this has to be the best eyebrow brush I have tried. It has a perfect angled brush on one end and a spoolie on the other and no silly lash comb. I haven’t used anything else since getting this and panic any time I misplace it, reasonably affordable as far as brushes go and you do technically get two.

Dove Refreshing Care Dry Shampoo
I never thought I would find something to rival Batiste Dry Shampoo but this is a good one especially if you have darker hair as it isn’t too white. It has quite a nice clean scent and does the job without being too powdery.

Weleda Skin Food
I had an extreme case of dry skin last month due to an irritation from a product and this really saved me from that. It hydrated it really well without stinging or causing more damage, after a few days the skin was fully moisturised and back to normal with no scabbiness.

Radical Skin Perfecting Screen SPF30 £38
I spoke about this in a recent post and it has to be my number one SPF as it is super light and sinks into the skin with no effort meaning there is no need to worry about white casts. (Review here)

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina £51
Still a little surprised I love this as much as I do but it’s the perfect elegant scent without being too grown up and the bottle is stunning too. (Review here)

I cannot find that Dove dry shampoo where I live and it's driving me mad because it seems awesome. Sob. The SPF seems awesome, though.

Didn't know Dove made a dry shampoo, will definitely have to try that! I've been eyeing up the Too Faced Palette but I already own so many neutral palettes! x

I have recently been using the Weleda Skin Food and love it! Also, I want to try the Dove dry shampoo, but have to finish up my Batiste first. Great favorites!

I've been seeing the natural eyes palette everywhere and I need it! It's definitely a splurge for me but I'm definitely more tempted than I have been in a long time!

I didn't have a great experience with the Batiste dry shampoo (I found it quite powdery) and so I've been trying out a couple other brands. I've heard great things about the Dove one but have yet to put my hands on it! I'll have to give it a try but right now for my the Aveeno Pure Renewal is the front runner!

I currently use the Dove Dry shampoo and I have to say I agree… it's one of the best I've tried although the first few times I sued it, I got my hair super white on top, haha. Also, it has a bit of a strong scent at first but once it sets in, it smells amazing. 🙂
