Eyeshadow Palettes

Asking a beauty blogger to pick all time favourites isn’t usually easy however I can honestly say I love these palettes over all my other ones (and I love a good palette). Unsurprisingly they are all neutrals because that’s what I wear on a daily basis, you don’t need all three but I love them all!

The palette that I always reach for before even thinking about another one has to be the Urban Decay Naked Palette, the original. I have the other two palette but this one is just a little superior in my opinion although the others may be better for you depending on your colouring. I know I can achieve any look I would want to wear with just this palette; a day look or evening look, natural or smokey and everything in-between. Theres a perfect mixture of mattes and shimmers and some absolutely stunning shades.

Although I almost feel like I am cheating I do also love my MAC 4 Pan Pro Palette (Total of £45) which I built myself. I have got a 16 pan palette but apart from being ridiculously expensive to fill, they aren’t really necessary as I have my four favourite shades right here. I don’t usually mix these shades together but they’re great extras to mix in with a few matte shades or even use them alone as all over colours. I love the size of this palette as it slides into my hand bag really easily as it’s nice a thin and it’s just nice to have exactly what I want in it, although it is missing a matte brow colour that I can also use in my crease but I’ll add to it soon. The colours I currently have are: Satin Taupe, Naked Lunch, Bronze and Wood Winked.

The Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette ()  is a recent addition but I love the colours, size and texture of the shadows although admittedly the lighter colour could be a better quality.  It has a great big mirror, three larger lid colours and a variety of matte and shimmer shades perfect from day to night. Some of the shades are almost identical to those of the Urban Decay Naked Palette but I love that it has a matte dark brown and a matte highlight which the naked palette doesn’t.

I'd say my favourite is Naked 2, but Naked 3 is so close behind. I hate the packaging of the first naked palette as it gets so grubby. I really want to try the still in the light palette, but I'm such a hoarder of them that I have similar shades in each one!

I've been lusting over the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette for a while now! I've been loving my S&G Lid Stuff palette recently.

I have well and truly loved my Urban Decay Naked palette too and mine also looks quite battered and used like yours unfortunately. These days I found that I reach alot for the Stila – In the light palette which has some really great shades in there which I think blends really nicely to create a lovely eye makeup look easily!

Thank you for sharing~ I hope you have a lovely day!

I brought the Too Faced pallet from Sephora and I am obsessed. The colours are really pigmented and it is a perfect size. Slightly annoying it doesn't have travel brushes with it, you have to carry one around if you want a touch up.

I think I will do a review for my blog!

The mac palette you've created is so beautiful! I have the original naked palette so I know it's kind of the holy grail for neutral shadows but the mac eyeshadows have a little something special that makes them look so luxurious! Great colours – they look stunning!

I looooove Urban decay and MAC eye shadows! Your MAC eye shadow palette is very similar to mine with the color scheme.

I am yet to find any drug store shadows with the same consistency and creaminess the same as those brands.

In the meantime I'll be wasting my money away on MAC eye shadows!

At the moment I am in love with my Too Faced Chocolate bar palette, as the colours are just so blendable and the colours are beautiful.

I really, really want to get my hands on the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. Shame it's not easily available here in Ireland. 🙁

These are all so, so stunning! I've been lusting after the Too Faced 'Natural Eyes' palette for awhile now and every time I see it in store I have to walk away before I impulsively pick it up! I keep telling myself one can never have too many neutrals but I really think I do!

The Too Faced Natural Eyes it's the first real palette I've ever had and I'm so happy to have it because I feel like I can do everything! I love all the shades, I can use in many different ways during the day or add some shine for the night…it's all that I needed! 😀

I would love to have all 3 palettes, the Urban Decay original I have been eyeing up for a while. Would be nice to try a brand I haven't tried like too faced though. Nude colours are my favourite. KBxx

I absolutely LOVE the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. It is a staple in my make up bag & it's so travel friendly. It contains such beautiful neutral colours for everyday looks & perfect for a night out too xx

Naked Lunch and Satin Taupe have got to be two of THE best Mac shadows. Both are such versatile colours that can be used to create daytime or evening appropriate looks! Even using only those two colours together a beautiful look can be created.
