Face Masks Top 5

A face mask is essential in any skincare regime and more importantly as a little me time in any woman’s life. I have picked my current top five which are very much perfect for my rehydrated skin although this is one thrown in that I love but don’t use quite as much as I don’t feel my skin always needs it.

Neal’s Yard Rose Antioxidant Facial Mask, £25.75
I love rose products but more than that I love that this seems to really work into the skin and supposedly encourages new cell growth. Although it is quite cleansing it doesn’t leave my skin tight and when I remove it my skin looks brighter and feels healthier. If you are looking for a organic and natural mask to give you a beautiful glow this is the mask for you.

Radical Instant Revitalising Mask,
This is my go-to quick fix to brighter skin in just 3-5 minutes. It’s quite a strange product, it comes out like a foam and once applied it almost pops and disappears on your face. Nothing scary but a little different, you can watch it happen and I will hopefully get the chance to show you in a video soon. Perfect for dehydrated skin or if you need a quick boast after a little time in the sun.

Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask,
Liz Earle masks have been my favourites for your years, I’ve tried them all and love them all. Theres one in the range for everyone, they’re reasonable masked and do exactly what you want them too. Although this is marketed as an intensive mask I would say it’s actually quite a light mask, perfect for any skin type looking for a little extra brightness. It isn’t too greasy but sinks into the skin beautifully and is easy to remove leaving the skin soft and plump.

Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask,
This is the one I often take on holiday with me or when I know I won’t have time for a face mask. I love that you don’t have to watch the clock for 10-15minutes but instead can go to bed, get some beauty sleep and wake up with rehydrated skin. Sometimes I even use this a few days in a row if my skin is feeling particularly parched. The reviews on the internet all seem to be amazing too so it’s one to try if you are looking to rehydrate your skin.

The Body Shop Seaweed Clay Mask,
It isn’t often that I use this mask as it is quite clarifying and therefore a little drying but every now and then I feel that my skin needs a clay mask if it’s feeling a little congested. It’s quite a traditional thick mask which you leave for 10 minutes and leaves skin feeling deeply cleansed but is still quite refreshing. This is a great one for anyone with oily or congested skin.

How often do you take the time to apply face masks? Which is your favourite?

The Clinique one sounds really good! I use Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash and Mask which leaves my skin squeaky clean. I love the fact its multi purpose and it's perfect for taking on holiday. Mish xx

I'm always on the hunt for new masks as they are one of my fav things skincare related. Will have a look at the clinique one, as my skin is a bit dry sometimes and needs extra TLC. X

I love face masks, but only find the time to do them maybe once a week although my skin needs them more often than that! I love Una Brennan's masks but I'd like to branch out a bit – I already love Liz Earle's Hot Cloth Cleanser so I'll probably give the masks a look soon, they sound really great! x
