Silly Name, Amazing Mascara….

I hate that this mascara is called ‘Better Than Sex’ as I feel it’s a bit of a shame that they felt that a slightly shocking name would help this mascara sell. However Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara is in fact one of the best mascara’s I have tried in a while  ever tried.

The packaging is perfect; it looks expensive without being overly flashy gold or silver packaging, instead it’s pink but isn’t in your face.
The brush has standard bristles which are shorter in the middle of the brush making it an hourglass shape and although it’s quite a long brush it isn’t too thick meaning you still have full control. The actual product is the perfect consistency and I can really build up incredible volume in just a coat but taking the time to apply three coats can give me a really impressive false lash effect.
Although I think it’s a little expensive for a mascara, it’s the best and very few mascara’s compare. I’ve been using mine almost 3 months now and there are no signs of it slowing down. It’s the darkest of blacks, doesn’t smudge and doesn’t leave my lashes with that uncomfortable crispy feeling.
I can’t recommend this mascara highly enough, if you are looking for volume I doubt any mascara would do it better.

What’s your holy grail mascara?

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is available here for £19

Wow this looks really pretty, I tried the Queen Size mascara before and wasn't too happy with the lack of volume. But this seems good will grab this next time I'm out. x

It looks really impressive, I'm also a sucker for packaging! This look luxe but not tacky.

This looks and sounds awesome, I love the packaging. Just a shame about the name, sexually named products make me cringe a little bit haha! x

The name makes me cringe too I really don't get why you'd call a mascara that, it does sound amazing though I really want to try it now ironically xx

I LOVE this mascara and have just bought my second one, best mascara by far on the market for volume.

Really want to try this mascara. Only hear good things about it. Just waiting for some of my other mascaras to end and I will give this one a go. x

I bought this in New York last month and adore it, I agree the name is a bit naff but luckily lots of people seem to look past that and can see how incredible it is. Seriously volumizing, my perfect lash combo is Benefit They're Real with this layered on top

I was on the fence about buying this or Urban Decay's Big Fatty mascara. I went for the latter, which turned out to be rubbish, so I wish I'd gone for this instead!

I completely agree about the name, I didn't even want to pick it up let alone review it with the name in the title! Will definitely give it a go now. My holy grail mascara is definitely they're real – benefit 🙂 http://cottonandcandie.blogspot.co.uk

The name is a little weird but the packaging and mascara sounds amazing that I might try if I find it in store.

It is a really lovely mascara, makes the lashes look lovely. I love the pretty colouring of the packaging too.

It is an awful name, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. It's just a shame it's even pricier than my current favourite They're Real (also not a great name!) x
