Advent Calendars 2014

With under a month until we can open the first door in our advent calendars I thought I would share what the beauty world has to offer and some of my favourites…

The Body Shop Calendar- . I had this one last year, it comes filled with miniature bath products, body lotions, lip balms and more. It’s perfect if you travel a lot and want to save the smaller sizes for when you go away or if you simply want a mini treat everyday of advent.

Boot No7 Calendar- £35. This is probably one of the more affordable beauty advent calendars as most retail for £50+, it has a range of miniature products from skincare or makeup.

Topshop Jewellery Calendar, . This one is probably the most tempting in my opinion, £25 for 24 days of Topshop- seems like a good deal. It has a mixture of gold and silver, although 12 of the doors hide studs which I don’t tend to wear too much.

Yankee Candle Calendar, £24.99. Another very tempting option for candle lovers like me is this relatively affordable offering which houses 25 scent candles to leave your house smelling amazing all December.

Ciate Mini Manicure Manor Calendar, . If you love nail polishes then this is the calendar for you, they have a range of colours and finishes to help create any nail look you desire this Christmas.

Jo Malone Calendar, £250. The creme de la creme of beauty calendars has to be the Jo Malone one which also carries a very premium price tag. It has a range of miniature body creams and their famous colognes as well as a larger treat hiding behind door number 24. It will be available 10th November nationwide but is currently Harrods exclusive.

If you want to keep it traditional and stick to chocolate, try the Lindt or Thornton Calendars for an affordable option.

Sadly I was too late in telling you about The Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar and the Benefit Calendar as they have already sold out. Keep an eye for them next year though as the content is amazing if you have a few extra pounds to spend.

What advent calendar do you have your eye on?

The Topshop one is definitely the most tempting, but I don't have my lobes pierced so it would be useless! The Body Shop one would probably be my second pick!

I had the Benefit one last year, so decided to grab the No7 one! It is such a bargain for the products which are in it! Looking forward to December now! 🙂

I'd not heard of the Topshop one but I think that's the one i'll be trying to get my hands on! I love their jewellery x

Without at doubt I'd be going for the Yankee Candle calendar – complete addict! Haha. The Topshop one sounds fab but I don't really veer from my pearl studs, so 12 of the doors would probably end up being given away to friends. Haha. If I had the money though, that Jo Malone calendar would be minneeee! 😛

I love the idea of the beauty calendars but they are so expensive. I'm really glad there's some more affordable ones around this year. I love the look of the No7 one x

The Yankee candle one I feel is the best value for money, because you actually get a decent sized candle inside each door, and they smell great! The makeup ones always feel a little disappointing, they put products in that are so small that I'd rather go and buy 2-3 full sizes of the products for someone. Haha there's my two cents anyway 🙂 xx
