Yesterday morning, after getting back from Portugal the night before, I rushed off to Selfridges to check out the Build Your Own Birchbox Pop Up Shop which has been created to celebrate Birchbox’s 5th Birthday!
I had great fun building my own Birchbox and there are some great products and brands to choose from including Elemis, Benefit, Decleor, Nuxe, This Works and more. You get to choose five samples plus a beauty treat where I chose the This Works Sleep Plus Pillow Spray. From the makeup section I picked the , which I didn’t even give a second thought to and the Wild About Beauty Gloss– a few of the other products I have already had samples of in a previous box but there were some good options. For skincare I was tempted by the but as I haven’t tried the I went for that instead. I rarely get excited by body care but I loved the sound of the Whish CC Body Cream and in haircare I choose the .
Each box costs £15 which although is a little more than the usual box I think s justified by the fact that you get to pick exactly what you would like inside the box. The pop up runs until the 28th September 2015 in the Selfridges Beauty Workshop but for anyone that can’t get to London they will be releasing a exclusive Limited Edition Selfridges Birchbox online on the 10th September with seven deluxe samples!
the price of this box appeals to me!
