Shoe & Shirt- Zara
Trousers- H&M

(H&M and Zara… no surprise there!)

Queue the worst editing ever, I’m not too sure why I blended the two images together but there we go- it didn’t make the background look any better that’s for sure. This super basic outfit is my entry into the Niveasoft and Giles Deacon competition which I blogged about last week and which is open until 25th September. I must admit although basic I do love rolled up jeans, high heels and shirts although I could do with a little more tan!

If you want to enter the competition simply upload an outfit to Instagram or Twitter with the Hashtag #ootd and #Niveasoft to be in with a chance of winning a Nivea Soft pot, a designer Giles Deacon bag and a styling session with Giles Deacon!

Good luck!

I’m sure I said once I finished university I would become a good blogger with regular posts but clearly that hasn’t quite gone to plan! Today I spent some time with the family and decided to wear the outfit above. I actually filmed a haul with which featured the skirt but I haven’t uploaded it yet but keep an eye out it’ll be up soon.

I must admit it was a little too cold for this outfit but I wasn’t outdoors for long. I bought this skirt in Primark as I was a after a maxi skirt but love the slit down the side as I think it makes it a little different. That said I wish the slit wasn’t quite as high as you do get a lot of leg especially when I sit down but I guess lots of people wear mini skirts so it’s not the end of the world. I teamed it with this leopard print top I once got in H&M on sale for £2, I initially thought I would get no wear out of it but in the summer I love it. I also love my shoes from H&M, they’re half sandal and half shoe… well they’re not they’re a dolly shoe with cut outs but are perfect for the summer!

Speaking of summer I had a St Tropez Spray tan on Friday! Spray tans are the best as I am not that person that looks pale and interesting… I look more pale and ill. I asked for the dark tan which I was expecting to be incredibly dark but it isn’t. Instead it looks dark but very natural I wouldn’t even mind a little darker!

The rest of my outfit is made up of a very old but stable black cardigan, a statement gold Primark necklace and my favourite rose gold and skull sunglasses (also Primark!)

I have a few more outfit’s to share soon and haul coming up so keep an eye out!

As I am sure you have guessed this pictures are still from my holiday. The funny thing is that whilst on holiday this was a ‘bad weather day’ but here in the UK its been raining and even thundering over the last few days so clearly the photographed day wasn’t really bad weather.

I love the outfit photographed- I’m not claiming it is an amazing outfit but just a very comfortable one. The maxi skirt is from H&M and although you can’t completely tell it is sheer, I was unsure if I should have bought it but I am so glad I did. Its my current favourite skirt and would happily wear it almost every day if it was acceptable and warm enough.

The top too is from H&M and I bought it on sale for just £3, I wasn’t too keen on the print at first but I think with the right bottoms it really works.

 Shoes NEXT
Glasses H&M (can you tell I’m a H&M fan?!)
Bag Fiorelli

I really hope it gets a little sunnier here in London, although I know its unlikely

I have a friend who once said that her friend swears by H&M nail polishes, being a little of a makeup boffin I stored this information and remembered to pick one up recently.
I really thought that this was going to be a new product that I was showing you but a quick Google shows that this polish is actually quite popular and Barabara (ThePersianBabe) spoke about it in a recent video.

I love the name of this polish ‘Blue My Mind’ and it has become on of the polishes I reach for the most. These pictures don’t show the actually colour of the polish well enough vibrant blue leaning towards the indigo side but that does shade in different lighting. It applies really well, the colour has no shimmer which is exactly what I like and last quite well without chipping.

I would really recommend looking at this colour next time you are in H&M.
What H&M colours have you tried?

& Not so favourite Nail wraps.
By far my favourite glitter nail polish and my current favourite nail polish at the time is Chelsea Embankment I have actually blogged about it here. I just think its a perfect it is perfect for winter and Christmas but would also look amazing in the summer with a tan! I am having to almost force my self not to wear this colour I like it that much, especially as I wear a lot of gold jewelry I think this nail polish really ties into all my outfits!

On a slightly less positive side I picked up these heart nail wraps in H&M at under £4 I probably should have expected a lot. Once applied they did last well however they were hard to get on as they ripped incredibly easily! The choice of size also isn’t as good as some of the other nail wraps I have tried so I won’t be repurchasing any H&M nail wraps.

Whats your favourite nail wraps?
