Cakes have to be one of my favourite food groups. I’m always on the quest for the cutest and tastiest cupcake.

And there are some good contenders in London but Primrose bakery is probably my favourite. Not only are the cakes delicious but the store in Primrose Hill is just the cutest!

Last week I got to indulge in some cake with some of my absolute favourite blogging girls- Jess, Ellie and Meg. I don’t get to see these babes as often as I’d like, so it’s always such a treat when we get to hang out together, especially when cake is involved!

Cake choice is always a tricky one for me but in the end I went for a super adorable merengue cupcake, Ellie got a Gluten-free one, Jess- red velvet and I believe Meg’s was caramel. They were all super pretty, so naturally we had to take a few photos before we even had a chance to take a bite. But if you’re ever looking for the cutest cafe in north London, this is definitely it!

You may have spotted we’re all also wearing matching Sterling Silver Sweetie Charm bracelets from iconic British Brand: Links of London. This is actually my first Sweetie Bracelet ever, after lusting after one for the last ten years. That said I have some other Links of London pieces which I wear almost everyday, they’re such great quality and my other pieces are totally different to this bracelet, so there really is something for everyone.

Although we all have Sweetie bracelets, they’re all slightly different as we picked individual charms to suit our own personality. I personally went for a Sterling Silver feather, Silver Sapphire & Blue Topaz Evil Eye and the Keepsakes Sterling Silver Flip Flop Charm– a rather eclectic group but I think that’s the magic of charm bracelets. You can decide to have a theme, pick to only have a certain colour, have ten charms or just one, actually even none- the Links of London Sweetie bracelet is equally as beautiful with no charms. I personally went with no theme; just what ever I loved as to be honest I’m fed up of themes (especially Instagram ones!)

Do you have a Links of London Sweetie Bracelet? What charms would you add to your bracelet?

A festive theme seems to have creeped into my daily makeup look and I’ve been loving a red lip teamed with a golden/bronzy eye. Usually I still for one, either a coloured eye with a neutral lip or a bright lip and neutral eye but I actually think this look has been working quite well and I can’t stop recreating it!
I discovered Clique Matte Crimson in my collection a few weeks ago, it hadn’t had much use as I don’t use reds quite as much in summer but I am so glad I rediscovered it. Although it’s a matte lipstick, it doesn’t dry out the lips or cling to dry patches which is very rare. It’s a beautiful classic blue red, which applies evenly and whitens the teeth. Teamed with that I have one of my favourite eyeshadows, MAC Woodwinked. Although it’s a bronze colour, I find it’s quite close to my skintone and therefore doesn’t look too made-up, I also find that I don’t really need a crease colour with this makes it all look a little more effortless. I do however find that this eyeshadow requires a little bit of eyeliner to really define the eye and lash line for which I turned to Estee Lauder Double Wear Liner.
For the rest of the makeup I keep it fairly simple, Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation teamed with a quick brush of Eyeko Brow Gel and a sweep of Illamasqua Contour Powder under the cheek bones. Depending on how I am feeling I also often add a touch of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector powder in Moonstone which is the most perfect highlighter I own, beautifully fine texture and I love the colour.
Another item I have been wearing a lot recently my new Vashi Pearl Pendant Necklace which I find to go with most outfit as it’s beautiful, classic and quite dainty. If you have heard of Vashi, he is the man who lots of celebrities go to for diamonds and beautiful Jewellery and you may have recently seen his work on Cheryl Cole on the X Factor. You can purchase the items from Vashi.com and it’s a worth a look if you are looking to purchase something special this Christmas.
What has been your recent go to makeup look?

Although I love Jumpsuit’s on other people I can never seem to find one that fits me perfectly, I recently discovered this one from Lavish Alice. I love the colour, the material is very light and I think the cut at the top with the spaghetti straps is particularly attractive. I did find that is is still a little short but I can just about get away with it however after wearing it for a couple of hours it became very static and started to cling to every inch of my body (as you can see above isn’t very flattering) which has never ever happened to me and washing it hasn’t helped. I was really looking forward to wearing it during the summer so I’d love some tips on how to stop this happening if anyone has any?

Accessories wise I kept it quite simple with some strappy Primark Sandals and gold hops. My glasses are a new pair from Triwa and are the Midnight Thelma Oversized design which I actually thought would be slightly bigger. That aside I love the shape and colour but it’s the barely noticeable pink tips that really finish these glasses in my opinion and at only £52 from MyBag.com I think they’re actually quite affordable.
As it was Easter I also felt it was only fair that my Gold Plated Jana Reinhardt Bunny Rabbit Necklace also get an outing. I absolutely love this, the chains quite dainty but the bunny is so adorable and I received so many compliments on it. Finally I also wore my new Gold Plated, Arrow ring from Kris Nations at Cadenzza which has really led me to want to purchase a few more better quality rings as my normal ones from H&M simply fade too quickly. I also love that this is a little more unique and a little more special and all for just £28.

Watch is Michael Kors… as always.

Last week I received a super pretty package from Link of London. Inside I found a stunning Star Dust  Toggle Bracelet which I feel automatically in love with! Although it’s not something I would buy very often I love having a few stables in my jewellery collection which are a little more expensive but versatile and well made. It’s the perfect bracelet to accessories any outfit wether it’s paired with a stack of other bracelets and a chunky watch or worn elegantly by itself.
I love how sparkly and pretty this is and although it’s beautifully dainty and elegant it still remains very modern, I’m sure I’ll get lots of wear out of it throughout the year! I love the rope effect contrasted with the sparkly details and it is perfect if you are still looking to drop some Valentine’s hints.

Have you got your eye on any Link of London items? What accessory are you currently loving?

This bracelet is available for £150 from Link of London stockists.
