Today I have another OPI Nail polish, this time it is a far more classic red called I’m Not Really A Waitress which I believe is (or maybe was) OPI’s best seller ever.

The colour is slightly darker red with some shimmer, it needed a few coats but was very nice to apply. I think it is a really nice colour but isn’t anything really special, just a nice classic colour everyone needs in their collection.

I’m sorry if there have been a few Nail polish reviews recently especilly OPI but I have been quite busy with University work and Nail Of the Day posts are one of the easier posts to do. Normal blogging will resume next week.

What is your favourite classic red colour?

If you follow me on twitter you may have seen this Instagram image that I posted of my nails yesterday. Very much inspired by this post by Love Maegan I couldn’t help adding some sparkles to my white nails.

The base colour is OPI Alpine Snow which I posted about here and which I really want a full bottle of!

One top I used Models Own Juicy Jules which is a very pretty silver, slightly holographic nail polish which is very popular with bloggers. It can be built up to a really nice more intense colour but I think that for this look that key is to only use one or two coats as it will also darken the white if you use too much.

I also added a layer of a nail polish by Andreia which is a Portuguese brand but I really wish I had the Barry M  Hologram Hexagrams as I think the different size glitters would have worked perfectly together!

I am sure this a combination I will be wearing a lot!

What do you think of this look? What is your favourite nail polish combination?

Although I know a lot of people don’t like Kim Kardashian I still think she is very pretty with amazing style and makeup (even if she will do anything for publicity.) I was watching a recent Kourtney & Kim take New York and I couldn’t help but notice her white nail polish.

I have in the past been tempted by white nails but always find it quite hard to get a flawless look so I though I would use one of the colours from my Best Of the Best OPI set called Alpine Snow. Being a mini bottle it is quite hard to actually the brush which is the reason this colour is pretty messy around the edges but I love the colour and am really tempted to pay the £10 for a full bottle.

It isn’t anything very special just a normal white polish but I love the effect and I think I might fake tan tonight just so it stand out even more tomorrow! It does need 2/3 coats depending on how generous you are but it dries quite quickly and I love the final effect.

Just like Kim Kardashian, white nail polish isn’t everyones cut of tea but what do you think of white nails?
(cue tipex jokes…)

Also if you are very quick you might still be able to pick up an OPI Best of the Best set for as little as £17.50 from BuyaPowa!

Lots more nail polish reviews coming up so keep an eye out and going to try the white Barry M polish out soon too.

These aren’t the most attractive photos but I actually smashed my OPI Rainbow Connection so these are the only photos which I have to show of it.
I have seen quite a few people talk about this OPI colour especially now that everyone is currently loving glitter polishes. I don’t usually buy OPI polishes, I don’t really use the same colour enough to justify spending too much on nail polish but I gave into the hype and bought this.

I’m really sorry that you can see my natural nail underneath but in real life it didn’t look quite as bad and this is with quite a few coats! As you can see it is a glitter nail polish made up of different colour and different size sparkles.

It does apply quite sheer but surprisingly doesn’t feel quite as grainy as I first thought. However I really don’t love this colour and I won’t be repurchasing it even though my bottle did smash. It isn’t quite as glittery as I had hoped and  I think all the colours really don’t work too well together. I even think the nail polish is slightly dull.

If I did still have this nail polish I would wear it over a gold nail polish as it adds to the glittery-ness.

What do you think of this colour? What OPI glitter polishes have you tried?
