This month I have really started to try new products more than ever and have found some really great products from inexpensive products to slightly higher end products.

The two foundations I have been loving are Armani Luminous Silk and L’oreal True Match. There is obviously a huge price difference but they are quite similar although the L’oreal may be slightly more matte. I adore the Luminous Silk as it gives the perfect finish (although I suspect it may be breaking me out) but for a fraction of the price L’Oreal is a great alternative. I especially like using the True Match foundation as I like to apply foundation with the Real Technique sponge which does naturally soak up a little bit of product so a less expensive product is better in my opinion.

As a concealer/highlighter I’ve been loving the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer as it doesn’t look cakey at all and is perfect for bringing light to the face. To set it all I’ve been using the new Benefit Porefessional Agent Anti-shine before contouring with the B Cosmetics Contour Kit which is surprisingly good. I have also rediscovered Angel Lipstick by Mac which is the perfect pale pink!

Other favourites are the Vaseline Spray & Go and the Soap & Glory Smoothie Body Butter which has helped me keep my resolution to always moisturise. I was also pleasantly surprised by how much I love Bumble and bumble Pret-a-powder, not only does it smell amazing but it’s great at plumping up the hair without being sticky. The Orly Won’t Chip top coat has also been a great addition, the ultimate top coat for super glossy and polished nails.

I’m not usually a huge nude nail kind of girl and if it wasn’t for this post I think I would have looked past this nail polish and moved onto a bright blue or mint green but I am so happy I didn’t! Finding the right nude polish is tricky, you want something that is the right shade so that it doesn’t make your hands look dead and I really wanted a colour I could actually see.
Luckily Clinique’s new range of ‘A Different Nail Enamel’ is made up of eight nude shades so there is a perfect colour for everyone.
With a nude you need a good base, my favourite is the Butter London Nail Foundation, I applied three coats of the nail enamel in Peek a boo, I see you and the Orly Won’t Chip Top Coat (Available from Look Fantastic). I feel in love with the effect it gave; pretty, classic and very shiny nails! I think this will become my go-to combination for busy weeks. The Clinique A Different Nail Enamels are also great as they don’t have harsh chemicals, apply well and dry quite quickly.

This colour is part of the Clinique Limited Edition 16 Shades of Beige Collection which has 8 Different Nail Enamel colours, each one retailing for £12.

Yesterday I share the GOSH nail glitters with you but since glitter nail polish has pretty much taken over my life I have another on to blog about today. I’m a little embarrassed to say this but after a lot of searching I still have no idea what this colour is called! It’s by Orly and is a little pink glitter with lots of shine, these pictures really do not do it justice!

I have the mini ORLY nail polish and I really highly recommend them, I personally can not justify spending £10+ on a nail polish which I will never finish so these £5 bottles are right up my street.

This colour need a few coats but overall I love the effect and it dried very quickly so applying a lot of layers wasn’t a problem. It also wears as I have had it on two days and it hasn’t got even the smallest sign of wear! If you have any idea what this shade is called I’d love to know, I can’t find it on the bottle or online!
