Just before the Christmas madness starts and all I post about is the festive season I thought I would share what new products I received this month. Theres been quite a lot of products arriving, largely for Christmas but I think I chose a nice edit for this video, with a variety of highend and more affordable bits.

Bobbi Brown is probably my biggest discovery of 2015, until the beginning of this year I had never tried a single product (crazy but true). I’ve actually really fallen for the whole range and can’t wait to discover more of it but was particularly excited with the launch of some new eye products as I have never tried a mascara from Bobbi.

The truth is that I very rarely get excited over mascara, I have a firm favourite and really don’t stray much from that (Too Faced Better Than Sex) but once I saw the results of the Eye Opening Mascara I knew I had to try it for myself.

I love the packaging, nothing too fancy or fussy but very sturdy. The brush is a traditional brush which I love but is a little larger than most. The formula is super black and designed to magnify each lash to deliver long, thick and curled lashes which I really think it does! The shape of the brush allows lashes to be pushed up and out, without the use of an eyelash curler, it adds lots of volume and good length too.

It’s not quite my favourite mascara ever but it’s one of the best I have tried for a while and particularly good if you’re looking for a lift in your lashes and add a curl.

I have also been trying out the Long-Wear Gel Sparkle Shadow + Liner’s just in time for the party season. I have 10. Pink Oyster and 11. Goldstone both of which I love although Pink Oyster is probably my favourite. They are designed to be used as either cream shadows or liners although I do think the colours I have might be a little light as liners. In the photo above I use Pink Oyster over a shadow look I already had on to add a bit of shimmer. As you can see it’s still fairly subtle but it is quite buildable. A really great item to keep in your desk draw during December to take your makeup from Day to Night.

EDIT: Turns out it’s only out in January so still a little wait but it’ll be worth it!

Ps. I’ve clearly brushed over my skin in the above photo, I didn’t want to mislead you- my skin is truly awful at the moment.

At the beginning of the year I mentioned that I hadn’t tried any Bobbi Brown products, that has now changed and there are so many which I am in love. One of the most recent additions to my collection is the new Telluride Collection which comes out this week (2nd July exclusive to Selfridges, available nationwide from 16th July.)

The collection was inspired by the late afternoon sunshine in one of Bobbi’s favourite locations in the Colorado mountains. It has an eyeshadow palette, three Pot Rouges, a shimmer brick and three variations of a lip trio.

The product which caught my eye first was the Telluride Eye Palette as it’s simply beautiful! I love a good palette filled with earthy browns and soft mauves but I also love that this palette offers both shimmers and mattes.  It has four matte shades which are all real staples in any collection and three shimmer shades which I love, they are all beautifully pigmented although the middle shade is more of an  overlay sparkle than a shadow on it’s own.

For the first time I tried the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge and it may be my favourite ever cream blushers, it’s perfect! I have the colour Maui which applied like a dream and I love the sheen it left on the skin. I also love the liner and lipstick in Natural Pink, the liner is a great one if you are looking to make your lips look fuller, the lipstick is really creamy and a beautiful shade.

I have a suspicion that I’ll be getting lots of wear out of this collection, one of the most wearable ones I’ve tried in a while!

I have been getting quite a lot of requests for What’s In My Handbag, I’m hoping to upload one onto YouTube soon but until then I thought I would share what is currently in my clutch bag. I love downsizing in the summer to a smaller bag, which I can carry either day and night, this one is great as I think tan goes with everything in the summer and it’s a great size too.

Inside I have a few essentials although I have downsized them my smaller bag, I usually carry my full size Michael Kors purse but in my clutch I go for just the coin purse and add my Aspinal of London Card Holder for my bank card and oyster.

I then have some new Tampax Compak Pearl which are my current tampons of choice as I find them to be more discreet as they have fun, stylish wrappers which are also much quieter and softer. Although they are a small size they still have a compact size applicator which is really important to me. There are four wrappers which were co-created with leading fashion trend experts so that even your tampons can be on trend!

My current sunglasses are from StylistPick, I love Tortoiseshell Sunglasses but these have peach handles to make they extra summery. My keys are nothing special, just car keys and house keys with a couple of key rings. I also rarely leave the house with my portable charger and phone wire as my iPhone runs out of battery far too quick, this Anker one is pretty big and pretty heavy but it also charges my phone6+ times so I would highly recommend it! My phone case from Iconemsis, is one I have had for quite a long time but the quality is excellent, I’ve never had a case that has lasted so long and looked so good!

Of course my handbag wouldn’t be complete without a few beauty bits although I think it’s quite tame. I have the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit, Bobbi brown Sheer Finishing Powder (which I use mainly for the mirror), a few lipsticks (Mac Lady Danger and Clinique Cheek Pop), Illamasqua Precision Ink and some Boots Wipes.

Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel as I’ll be sharing what’s in my Paris handbag soon.
