Really I wanted a photo around the pool with the favourite facial sprays but in reality they’re just too heavy for me to justify bringing them all on holiday so I had to take the photo back in London. It was hard to chose which ones to bring with me away on holiday but I decided to simply pack the lightest ones.

I love facial spritzers; to freshen up on a hot day, to finish off my makeup and to help hydrate my skin.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir 100ml, £32
This baby has been raved about for years now on beauty blogs, it’s filled with essential oils of orange blossom, mint and rose which helps reenergise the skin. Perfect for under or over makeup to add a little radiance, a nice tip is to keep it in the fridge to make it even more refreshing.

Jurlique Rosewater Mist 50ml, £16.50
This may actually be my favourite of them all (although this bottle is far too large and difficult to hold) This one smells divine and is always what I reach for when I need to be awakened, the scent is also particularly comforting meaning it’s my favourite product to use during a long day especially as I find it to help calm my skin too.

Neal’s Yard White Tea Facial Mist 45ml, £11
When I am really looking for hydration I find that this product helps the most in terms of facial sprays, this is my second bottle and I could really see a difference when I went back to it. I love to use this one before makeup to really help give me a dewy finish.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic 200ml, £13.50
Out of all the product I have mentioned this is the one I use most like a standard toner after cleanser however I also love the smaller travel size one to carry around in my hand bag. It contains cucumber, aloe vera and calendula to calm the skin which is always great any time of the day.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist 100ml, £8.50
The 100ml bottle means that you can travel with this and you have enough product to apply generously both on the plane and during your holiday, it’s also in a light plastic bottle so it won’t weigh you down. It’s great to set makeup and really helps my makeup last a little long while making it look a little more natural and dewy which I love. It got a much lighter rose scent than the Jurlique Rosewater mist if thats something you’re quite sensitive to. For the price it’s such a great product!

The ones I’d like to try:
Clinique Moisture Surge Face spray / Jurlique Citrus Purifying Mist

In terms of skincare this month I’ve been keeping it kind of simple however after a mini facial in Space NK with Radical I’m back to their Hydrating cleanser £30 which is pretty amazing and super cooling and relaxing for the summer months. I’ve also been using the Jurlique Rosewater Facial £21.50 a little more and I am still in love with it, I find it helps hydrate my skin, cool me down and just smells amazing.

I also went for a facial in John Lewis, Brent Cross with Murad which I would highly recommend, not only did my skin look and feel great after but it was so relaxing I fell asleep. It was one of the best facials I’ve had in a while and would highly recommend it!

On my eyes there have been two winners which are the Benefit They’re Real Liner £18.50 (review here) and Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara £19. The eyeliner doesn’t budge even in the heat and humidity that took over London over the last few weeks and I am already planning a repurchase as soon as it runs out. I was excited to be trying the Too Faced mascara for myself and can really see why so many people love it! That said I’m a little fed up of beauty brands using sex to sell products so blatantly. It’s quite a dry consistency which I find really helps build up the volume and you get amazing long, thick lashes in no time at all!

In terms of lipstick my stand out new launch has been the Revlon Moisture Stains especially in Rio Rush and Barcelona Nights (review here) but I also discovered Laqa and Co Lip Lube in The Boss Lady (I think) £14 which is the perfect hydrating but also a stunning everyday summer colour.

My perfume of choice has been Paco Rabanne Black XS Potion £39 which is a super sexy evening fragrance which I can’t get enough on.

Somehow I managed to pack my beauty products for a month all into a few toiletry and cosmetic bags but I tried to be good. In the perfect world I would take 6 foundations, 20 lipsticks, 5 suncreams (all in different factors), 2 hair masks and so much more just so I had options.

However sadly that wasn’t an option so somethings did get left behind. Not because I don’t love them and didn’t want to take them but simply because I was trying to be good, not pack too much and somethings simply came in packaging and bottles that are too big and heavy!

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Butter, £10.50 I used this all of last summer meaning the scent reminds me of summer however I’ve had to settle for only after suns as they’re more essential and they’ll do what this can do and more but sadly won’t smell quite as good.

Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation, £36 I decided this was going to be my summer foundation however I realised that this bottle was pretty much finished and after looking through my foundation drawer I also noticed that I couldn’t justify buying yet another foundation. I’ve packed a few other favourites instead but you’ll have to come back further into my holiday to find out which ones.

Hugo Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme, £50 This would have been a perfect everyday perfume but I simply couldn’t give up the other one I chose and I’m trying to be good and not take 4 perfumes (because 3 is so much better!) If you are looking for a nice great summer day perfume this is my most recent favourite discovery.

L’Occitane Tonic Body Oil, £35 I’m sure this would have been the perfect oil to hydrate and also give a nice sheen to my skin but I packed so many clothes that I had to leave this out. I love the pump which makes it easy to apply but the packaging isn’t the lightest.

Jurlique Rosewater Facial Spray, £21.50 I’ve raved about this lots over the last few weeks but if this was a little smaller and lighter it would have been the first product in my skincare bag.

Aussie Beach Mate, £4.99 I’ll probably regret not packing this as a 3 minute mask is the perfect amount of time to help give sun drenched hair a little TLC but once again it’s a little on the large side so I’ve chosen to pack sample sizes.
