Am I the only person that almost forgot that it’s Father’s Day- TOMORROW!
I’ve picked a few last minute gifts which you can pick up in town (or even tomorrow morning) which I think any dad would love to receive.

A fragrance is always a great way to go in terms of gifts especially if you already know your Father’s (or partner’s taste).

If you’re looking for a woody night time fragrance then John Varvatos Platinum Cologne is a beautiful option, it’s a real man’s man scent. I actually gift John Varvatos fragrances quite regularly and they’re always loved!

If you’re looking for something for a younger man (like the father of your kids) or maybe your dad is just cooler than mine then I have a few picks too.

Paco Rabanne Invictus is one my boyfriend wears regularly and I really love, it’s the perfect summer scent with citrus and marine notes. Alternatively, I know there are lots of One Million fans out there, again by Paco Rabanne and they made the bottle even better with a rather epic Monopoly Limited Edition.

A recent launch is the Mont Blanc Emblem Absolu which is a new favourite in my family, it’s sweet and fruity but with warm spicy and woody notes which keep it very masculine, plus it comes in a beautiful gold bottle.

But my favourite is the Gaultier Le Male Superman Eau Fraiche, for the bottle alone. If you’re looking for a gift for your perfume-loving Superman then you can’t go wrong with this one, it’s perfect for the summer with notes of neroli, mint and aldehydes.

Also, worth noting, there is a Wonder Woman version which I might buy as it would be the perfect addition to any perfume collection- but maybe not for Father’s day.

If you dream of gifting your dad something luxury but can’t quite afford a Cartier watch then the L’Envole De Cartier gift collection is perfect! It is a unique oriental scent which is both soft and intense, notes of musk mixed with a real freshness and masculine wood and honey notes. All packaged in the famous red Cartier box with an Eau De Parum and Shower gel.

Alternatively, Etro ManRose is another great luxury fragrance, I stupidly didn’t photograph the bottle but it’s a really beautiful but yet elegant one. With warm spicy, aromatic and of course rose notes, it’s a little on the pricier side but with the extra money. Another new launch this year is the Issey Miyake Nuit D’Issey Bleu Astral a citrus, woody and leather scent in a very classic bottle, perfect for any age.

But if you’re not looking for perfumes I have a few options which are easily available in Boots

If you’re on a budget there are two options which I have for you the Superdry Sports wash pack and the Ted Baker Trio set, both include essentials that every dad needs, maybe not the most personal but very useful,

There is also a great offer on the Wahl Classic Grooming Set, it’s a great set with clippers, precision trimmer, combs, scissors and so much more! It’s limited edition and currently half price! I really love the retro feel of this one.

And lastly, one of my favourite brands of the moment has to be Neal’s Yard who always have a great range of men’s products, from single gifts to gift sets!

Hope this help you last minute shoppers like myself and hope you have a great Father’s Day tomorrow!

As much as I love Christmas few things make me happier than summer so when these Nude By Nature sets arrived as a Christmas gift idea I couldn’t wait to share them as they are inspired by my favourite season!

Nude By Nature is an award-winning Australian brand, which launched recently in the UK. It is the number one mineral makeup brand in Australia and they have some great gift kits with lots of ‘good for you’ makeup and tools.

Being an Australian brand they are very much inspired by the Australian landscape. The products are great to add a little Australian warmth to dark, wintery British days, which I find always helps my winter blues. They’re great products and tools to have going into 2017, are all cruelty-free and PETA Certified.

I have two of the gift sets the Wanderer 15-piece Brush Set and Follow The Sun Deluxe Illuminate Collection which I love equally!

The Wanderer 15-piece Brush Set is a really beautiful, luxurious collection and a very reasonable £65. It has all the tools needed to create the perfect makeup look and is the most perfect present for any woman that wears makeup or eve as a cheeky gift for yourself. The Follow The Sun Deluxe Illuminate Collection is another really beautiful set, inside is a Sheer Light Illuminator, Sheer Light Pressed Illuminator, Touch of Glow Highlight Stick and a Deluxe Kabuki, all great to create a Christmas Glow- and free from any harmful ingredients!

If faking a glow isn’t enough then Nude By Nature also have a Wanderlust competition running! Inside all the Christmas kits is a chance to win a holiday to Australia for two, all you have to do is submit a photo or video to Instagram with the caption celebrating a moment that captures ‘where life has taken you’ this holiday season along with #wanderlustbynature #mebynature. The most creative photo/video and caption wins.

Nude By Nature is available in Debenhams, ASOS and Feel Unique.

stocking-fillers
I think I have finally finished my Christmas shopping and I am just after a couple of extra bits and stocking fillers but thought I would share some ideas I’ve had so far.

I’ve been very impressed by Superdrug’s Christmas Stocking offerings this year for both men and women, and actually looking at the photo above now, a lot of it did come from Superdrug. They have great makeup bags, pom poms, affordable MUA palettes, affordable bath bits from Sweet Snuggles and Zoella, as well as the Sweet Shop Jars which I have made my way through rather quickly.

Onto hand creams, I honestly think hand creams are Christmas essentials, most women use hand creams, they’re perfect for any age and affordable. They work as great stocking fillers or smaller gifts for people you don’t know too well. Patisserie de Bain have great affordable hand & body lotions but if you’re looking for something a little fancier, then the tinned hand creams are great. The Body Shop tin comes with a nail file or alternatively the Vintage & Co hand cream is affordable but a really good size.

Another great option that every girl needs are hair accessories, hair clips and hair ties. Kitsch do some really cute options but my whole family are loving Invisibobbles and they’re much cooler than normal boring old hair bands so I’ll definitely be throwing some in for them.

Other great affordable options are lip balms like the Dr. Lipp one, The Body Shop Body Butters and face masks such as the Starskin sheet masks- great for some post-Christmas pampering.

Then you have the obvious socks and chocolates, I personally like my stocking to always have a few useful/must have bits like socks as well as fun beauty bits.

What do you most look forward to finding in your stocking on Christmas day?

Buying for men is always really hard in my opinion so I love a good Father’s Day gift guide, usually I fill mine with just beauty but this year I have upped my game and I think you’ll find something your dad really loves…

A little bit pricier but everyone needs a pair of trainers especially if you’re father is quite active or you’re trying to encourage him to be more active. Infinities have a whole range of menswear but their trainer section caught my eye recently and I picked up the Nike Air Max 1’s as my brother swears that they’re the most comfortable thing ever!

If your dad is a film lover or you fancy offering him something that he can make the most of later in the year then a Cineworld Voucher is a great option. I’m not usually a voucher-gift-lover as I think they’re often not personal enough but I think a cinema voucher is a little more unusual and seems like you’ve bought more thought into what he loves.

I was actually super excited about this beer making kit from Brewbarrel so have already shown my dad this, I haven’t given it a go yet so I have no idea what the beer tastes like but we’re both super excited to try it and make it for ourselves. It’s a great fun idea which you can both do together.

If you’re on a budget and are looking for something quite fun then Superdrug have some surprisingly cool gifts including a self-stirring mug, mini tool kit and Blinktime Watch, all for under£10!

Now onto the beauty…

Every man needs a grooming/shaving machine, whether it’s to keep their beard in shape or they like a close shave. If they like to change up their beard look then Braun Multi Groomer is a great option as they can use it to shave style and trim their beard but if he just wants to shave then Braun Series 3 is the one to go for (it’s a best seller!). My dad is more of a razor man and if yours is too then the New Gillette Fusion Proshield is inexpensive and always useful!

Staying with shaving The Real Shaving Co is a company which is renowned for its superior men’s grooming products. I’ll admit I’m always a little confused by men’s brands as I don’t know too much about them but the brand is developed for men that want the barbershop shave at home. It’s all really affordable with shaving creams starting at just £3.99 but they also have moisturisers and everything else you’d expect.

For more luxe everyday essential MR. offer a thickening Shampoo and conditioner which uses their unique thickening complex to promote thick, healthy hair. The whole hair care range is really great for any dad that might be looking to disguise or add thickness to their hair but there is a styling range too.

My dad isn’t quite cool enough for skincare but if your dad is then Foreo have a sleek men’s range and since I’ve tried the ladies range (different colour) I can confirm it’s worth looking into! New from Foreo is their new Luna go, a facial cleansing tool for on the go and they even have a men’s cleanser to go with it.

Onto fragrance which I really struggle to write about but I think it makes a great gift!

If you’re on a budget and want to pick up a fragrance then Yardley 1770 is great and you’d never guess it’s £9.99! It’s quite a citrusy scent with hints of patchouli, ginger and more woody scents.

Next, Jimmy Choo Man– I’m not saying this is a unique scent because it isn’t but it’s a good one to consider if you’re not too sure what scent your father usually goes for as I think most men would like this.

Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct is a lovely daytime, spring/summer scent, with notes of Pepper, Melon and musk. It’s a little more sophisticated than other Abercrombie scents I’ve smelt in the past.

A new fragrance from Montblanc is Legend Spirit and this is my pick of the four. Again not ground breaking but I think it’s both classic and modern with notes of Lavender, white musk and bergamot.

selfridges mothers day Diptyque RoseFor anyone that is as last minute as me with their Mother’s Day gifts I thought I would share a quick look at some of the bits Selfridges which are perfect for any Mums that love beauty. It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday so you have just a couple of days left to pick up all your pressies.

My first pick from the lot has to be the Charlotte Tilbury creams, I just love the brand and these are a really lovely treat. I’ve tried the original Magic Cream which was beautiful and I’m expecting the same from the Eye Rescue and Night Cream. You could splash out on the Magic Cream Duo or pick the one item which your mum would appreciate most.

I think perfumes and candles are also always a great option for any female although it can be tricky to choose the perfect scent for someone else. Aerin is brand which I’m still exploring but their fragrances are real stand out products, they look really luxurious and elegant, plus theres a nice range so you can find one that your mother will love. Mediterranean honeysuckle is exclusive to Selfridges but pretty amazing!

I’m also really loving rose at the moment and the Diptyque range doesn’t disappoint! It works great for any age and I must admit that I am super excited to burn this candle! The Rose Roll On also comes in the most beautiful packaging, is the perfect handbag size and is very affordable as far as luxury perfumes go.

As my mum isn’t huge into beauty I often opt for body and skin products as everyone needs these and it’s always nice to make an everyday task such as creaming your body that little bit more lavish. Estée Lauder’s Revitalising Supreme Body Creme is the perfect pre-spring pick me up, it’s deeply nourishing and adds the most beautiful radiance to the body. However for my mother, top of her list is always a great hand cream, especially the Clarins Super Restorative Hand Cream which is the perfect anti0ageing, intensive hand cream!

For makeup loving mothers I don’t think you can beat a good lip colour such as the Giorgio Armani Lip Maestros which are grown up matte lip lacquers that provide rich, intense colour. Alternatively everyone needs a good mascara and Estee Lauder Sumptuous Knockout is the ideal one for anyone looking to add lift and definition to their lashes.

My final beauty recommendation is one I have been trying over the last week myself and it’s the Suqqu Musculate Massage & Mask Cream. It’s currently my favourite relaxation, pamper item. It’s a rich and highly moisturising cream which can really be used to massage the skin in order to promote blood circulation, hydrate and add the perfect glow to the skin.

Have you bought your Mother’s Day Gift yet? Did you pick up any beauty bits?

PS. I’m getting a facial tomorrow a Radical Skincare Facial tomorrow (which would make the perfect Mother’s Day Gift too!) so join me on Snapchat to follow my day: alittleobsessed
