For those of you that follow me on Instagram or YouTube, you may have seen that I’m taking part in a super fun Halloween Campaign with Boots to create an affordable and easy Halloween look.

I went for Wednesday Addams as not only is the makeup easy but so is the outfit- plus I think it’s a good scary-ish Halloween outfit without being gruesome.

As part of the campaign, Boots threw a fabulous Halloween sleepover at an amazing haunted hotel with some of my favourite bloggers; Meg, Em and Becca who I celebrated with in spooktacular style.

We all recreated our Halloween makeup looks (check out the girls looks here: Em, Becca and Meg)

For mine, I used the same products from my YouTube video to create my Halloween look and it was super quick and easy. All the products are available at Boots and start at just £2.99, plus they have a ‘3 for 2’ mix and match across cosmetics and beauty accessories at the moment – BONUS. My current favourite Natural Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner is a must have I wore all evening and I also really fell in love with the black lips and the beautiful lashes!

Products used:
Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner, Clinique High Impact Mascara, Eylure Enchanted Lashes, Maybelline Palette The Nudes, Collection Eyebrow Kit Brunette, Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit, NYX Professional Makeup Stay Matte But Not Flat Liquid Foundation and NYX Professional Makeup High Definition Finishing Powder

I finished my Wednesday Addams look with Barry M Gelly Nail Paint Black Forest, which not only looks great for Halloween but also is a great autumn/winter pick.
Once we were all made up we ate lots of Halloween themed chocolates, made our way through endless popcorn and watched my favourite Halloween film- Hocus Pocus.

I had such a lovely time and a huge thanks to Boots for having me and for collaborating with me!

Have you got any plans for Halloween this year? Will you be trying out this Wednesday Addams look?

twitterI mentioned in a recent post that I love the new Zoeva Warm Neutral Palette so naturally I had to share a makeup look using it! I also used a few new bits along the way and the most amazing, easy to apply lashes.

PS. I’m in Amsterdam at the moment and a little MIA on here but add me on Snapchat: alittleobsessed

Theres been so much hype surrounding the new Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette that I pretty much ruled it out, I thought I would be underwhelmed even though I think Urban Decay do the best palettes out there. When I first received mine I still wasn’t really wowed, it looked nice but so many palette are nice.

A month and a half on and I am head over heels in love with it, it even made it into my favourite palette video a few weeks ago, it’s a truly beautiful palette. It’s weird because it isn’t at all ground breaking, 12 or so good shades, two or three I won’t wear but still some how I have been reaching for it more than any other palette. There are some really great everyday colours, with the perfect amount of shimmer and sheen. I’ve been using this palette for both day and night- I just can’t get enough of the colours, all of which are named after something Gwen Stefani related which is really fun!

I really didn’t think I need another eyeshadow palette but this one really proved that there is always space for one as long as it is good enough.

I’m pretty sure it’s limited edition so I’d recommend picking it up soon- you won’t regret it.

£40 available from Debenhams and all good Urban Decay Stockists.

In all honesty I don’t think that the title of these blog post is that ground breaking since it seems every drugstore brand has tried to produce their own version of Urban Decay’s Naked palettes. I’ve tried quite a few of the similar drugstore brands and there’s some great ones although I think I have found my favourite.

A little pricer than most drugstore palette but under half the price of the Urban Decay Naked palettes, is Soap & Glory’s The Perfect 10, £16. As the name suggests it houses ten eyeshadows, similar to those found in the Urban Decay Naked palettes; wearable nudes, bronzes as well as a few darker deeper shades.

It’s a great makeup palette for anyone on a budget looking for a staple go-to palette which they can use to create both day and night looks with. Theres is a nice mix of matte, satin and shimmery shades, with all of them being pigmented and creamy. They’re not quite as pigmented as Urban Decay but I think that’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you aren’t very confident with eyeshadow as I think the Urban Decay ones are almost too pigmented.

Packaging wise it’s nice, just a strong cardboard with a magnetic closure and mirror which makes it quite light weight and travel friendly.

As with most Soap & Glory it’s currently 3 for 2 in Boots but I do think it’s limited to this time of the year so pick it up before it’s gone.

Great gift for a friend or even as an affordable treat to yourself. What is your favourite inexpensive natural eyeshadow palette?

The new H&M beauty range has been all over beauty blogs the last month so naturally I had to try a few products out for myself and I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, price and colour selection of all the products. I decided to apply all the products on video, share my thoughts and a bit of a haul. Let me know if you’ve tried the H&M beauty range in the comments!
