I’m sure I said once I finished university I would become a good blogger with regular posts but clearly that hasn’t quite gone to plan! Today I spent some time with the family and decided to wear the outfit above. I actually filmed a haul with which featured the skirt but I haven’t uploaded it yet but keep an eye out it’ll be up soon.

I must admit it was a little too cold for this outfit but I wasn’t outdoors for long. I bought this skirt in Primark as I was a after a maxi skirt but love the slit down the side as I think it makes it a little different. That said I wish the slit wasn’t quite as high as you do get a lot of leg especially when I sit down but I guess lots of people wear mini skirts so it’s not the end of the world. I teamed it with this leopard print top I once got in H&M on sale for £2, I initially thought I would get no wear out of it but in the summer I love it. I also love my shoes from H&M, they’re half sandal and half shoe… well they’re not they’re a dolly shoe with cut outs but are perfect for the summer!

Speaking of summer I had a St Tropez Spray tan on Friday! Spray tans are the best as I am not that person that looks pale and interesting… I look more pale and ill. I asked for the dark tan which I was expecting to be incredibly dark but it isn’t. Instead it looks dark but very natural I wouldn’t even mind a little darker!

The rest of my outfit is made up of a very old but stable black cardigan, a statement gold Primark necklace and my favourite rose gold and skull sunglasses (also Primark!)

I have a few more outfit’s to share soon and haul coming up so keep an eye out!

It may seem a little premature but I feel like it is finally time to wear skirts. The sun has been out for a few weeks and although a jacket is still needed I feel like a midi-skirt is the perfect length for the current weather. If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen this and many other midi-skirts as I simply can’t stop wearing them. I don’t love my thighs and I feel that especially whilst in the city they look much nicer than a short skirt.

I found this ASOS midi skirt whilst browsing ShopStyle which I have been using on my iPad for a while as it is the perfect place to start when looking for a certain item of clothing. They have such a variety of brands so with one search it checks most of my favourite stores. The only negative is buying every midi-skirt on the high-street is made far too easy!

Skirt ASOS (now on Sale)
Shoes Primark (My favourite as they are so comfortable!)
Crop Top New Look
Jacket Old
Bag Zara

I really want to do more outfit of the day’s in weeks to come but I think I need some tips I feel like I always look so awkward!

What is your favourite skirt type?

These weekend was my auntys surprise 40th Wedding anniversary party and I felt it was the perfect chance to whip out my red shoes and peplum top. I love this top as it has just the perfect amount of flair, at first I was a little worried as I have a large bust and wide hips but in fact I don’t think it made me look too bad. The peplum top is a very versatile top and has been seen on the runway of many designers such as Louis Vuitton and on celebrities such as Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian and Olivia Palermo.

I teamed mine with a black Body Con skirt which gave the illusion that I was in fact wearing a dress. I wore my most comfortable heels- my Primark Court shoes, Elizabeth Arden red lips and a L’oreal red nail polish to finish the look. Overall, I love this look and am sure I will be switching it up with different shoes or a different colour skirt.
