I’ve spoken about Tom Ford quite a bit recently, it’s the ultimate high end brand in my eyes but it sure is pricey too. My most recent addition is the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate, a pretty infamous duo which is made up of a cream highlight and contour to help shape and sculpt the face.

Naturally the packaging is beautiful, luxurious and comes with a large mirror. The darker contouring shade is a matte brown cream, a little on the warm side but I like that. The highlighter is a subtly shimmery and just adds the perfect glow.

The photo above was taken straight after I received it and looking back on it, it is a little streaky and I think that’s because it took me a little while to get use to the cream formula. I personally like to apply it with a flat top foundation brush but it requires more blending than this type of brush offers. It’s quite an oily consistency and it has the tendency to move any base product with it, if I’m not careful but since I have a drier skin I don’t find the oiliness too bothering.

It also costs £57 making it one of the most expensive makeup items in my entire collection and although I really do like it I’m not sure I would repurchase it. The highlight is the stand out product but I do still like the sculpting shade, although if you are quite fair/like ashy colours this won’t be for you. I like a slightly warmer contour as I find ashy ones can often look dirty and I think the cream finish is beautiful too.

I’ve now got a Tom Ford perfume on my wishlist and probably a few more makeup bits. It’s all just too beautiful. Will you be adding this to your valentine’s day wishlist?

After lusting over the Tom Ford Lipsticks for far longer than I should have ,I was lucky enough to be gifted some for Christmas (which I’ll share in another post soon). After trying their lipsticks I have decided although they are expensive they are worth the £37 but was particularly excited to see the launch of their smaller sized and therefore more affordable lipsticks which make up the Lips & Boys collection.

Priced at a more affordable £26 the Lips & Boys collection, exclusive to Selfridges, is made up of 50 shades with each lipstick being named after a man in Tom Fords life and holding 2g of lipstick.

I have four of the shades; Ian, Patrick, Justin and Peter which are all ever so slightly shimmery but I’m not sure if the whole range is. The consistency is beautiful as you would expect from Tom Ford although Peter and Ian are a little more sheer but beautiful none the less. My favourite colour out of the four is surprisingly Patrick which is a beautiful coral shade and perfectly creamy.

I love that these are a little more affordable than the usual lipsticks and would highly recommend them if you have been lusting after the original lipsticks but haven’t been willing to invest.

The whole range is exclusive to Selfridges, limited edition and selling out quick (here)

Have you got any Tom Ford Lipsticks? What do you think of this collection?

Ps excuse my eyes in the photos- I poked my eye just before taking these. Ouch.

Currently on my wishlist are a handful of
beauty products with a few other things here and there, they are largely luxury
products which I would love to receive for Christmas!

I have been lusting over the Tom Ford lipsticks every since they were released,
they are super luxurious and the colours are stunning- with Christmas around
the corner they’re even more on my mind as I would love to see one under the
Christmas tree!

Although I really don’t need a new perfume
there have been two on my wishlist recently; the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire
and the Cult Classic Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. They are both a little pricier
but very luxurious and fabulous scents for the party season! They are also both
available from House of Fraser
meaning you will be able to collect Nectar points if you shop online!
The Bobbi Brown Warm Eye Palette comes in
one of the most beautiful case’s that I’ve ever seen for eyeshadow. You also
get nine stunning, wearable, bronzes, gold and deeps browns. Although it’s a
little more expensive than some of the popular palettes, it would still be my
pick of the palettes released this autumn/winter.
I fell in love with the colour of this
Colbat Blue Dune Clutch, it’s great for adding a pop of colour and looks
expensive even though it’s actually quite affordable!
Just like everyone else, I have been after
a new diary for 2015 and although I love my Moleskin Diary I am getting a
little bored. Paperchase have the most perfect ones at the moment. They are all
affordable and fun but also look like they would last quite a while.
Finally how cute is this Ted Baker dog in his crown?!

Let me know in the comments what is
currently on your wishlist.

Since over the last week I have shaded some of my favourite cult products I thought today I would share the products I have never tried but are loved by the beauty world. You’ll notice that a lot of them are highend products which is probably why I haven’t picked them up but some are simply products that I haven’t got round to trying.

Lorac Pro Eyeshadow Palette (Available here)
This palette is actually not available in the UK which is probably why I still don’t have it but it looks amazing! I’ve heard there is a very similar SmashBox Palette but theres something about it that makes me want this one more!

Tweezerman Tweezers (Available here)
I feel like these Tweezers and the Shu Uemura Eyelash curlers are two beauty must haves but this one I don’t have. Although they’re a little pricey for a pair of Tweezers I guess it would be a one-off purchase and I’ve even heard that you can get them sharpened, I think I’m just waiting for a good offer to come along.

Essie Fiji Nail Polish (Available here)
With the more affordable range of Essie Polishes about this is actually not an expensive product but it’s a product that I always seem to forget to buy but as it’s love by so many and seem to be a perfect summer colour I will be picking it up soon!

Nars Laguna Bronzer (Available here)
For years I hadn’t tried Nars Laguna Bronzer or Orgasm blush but I was gifted the blush last year so it’s only Laguna I need to try now. It’s probably the most famous/loved bronzer ever, how I haven’t tried it I don’t know!

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage (Available here)
I haven’t really tried much at all from Laura Mercier but since so many people to this products, this has gone to the top of my wishlist.

Alpha H Liquid Gold (Available here)
I actually thought this was far more expensive than it actually it is but so many people swear by it, now that I know that it’s only £31.50 (not that expensive as far as skincare goes) I will be picking up a bottle soon.

Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder (Available here)
I’ve held this in my hands many a time but never actually bought it and I am not sure why. Yes, it isn’t cheap but there are few things that I think make a bigger difference to my face than a contour. That said is it actually better than other contours, I’m pretty happy with my Illamasqua Sculpting duo.

Tom Ford Lipstick (Available here)
Ultimate luxury lipstick, haven’t felt able to justify the price but I will!

Beauty Blender (Available here)
I’ve tried all the imitations going and really fallen for the Real Techniques one but it does leave me wondering if this is even better.

Mac Fix+ (Available here)
This has just always slipped past me but I have a suspicion I would love it!

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation (Available here)
You may want to take a seat for this one. I have never ever tried Bobbi Brown. Yes, I am probably the only women and definitely the only Beauty Blogger to not have tried this well loved brand. Nothing has ever really caught my eye but I know the Skin Foundation is a favourite so it’ll probably be what I pick up.

Mason and Pearson Brush
I’ve wanted one of these ever since I can remember but they are so expensive and I’m just not sure that they’re worth the money, would love to know if you have one in the comments.
