There weren’t any huge new additions to my haircare but I kept using some old favourites. I can’t see myself using a different dry shampoo, I am completely addicted to Batiste Dry Shampoo and nothing else compares. For my ends I have been loving Moroccan Oil Treatment, an old classic but still the one I reach for. I’ve also been using Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence daily for the majority of the year, it helps keep my hair in great shape and makes it nice an easy to brush.
However skincare wise I found a few great products; I fell in love with Emma Hardy Amazing Face Cleanser and the face cloths to remove my makeup and keep my skin reasonably clear. As I have had pretty dehydrated skin all year long I’ve been using Clarins Blue Orchid Face Oil before going to bed which has really helped. I also have been using the Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Toner which is great when my skin is look particularly dull. I also couldn’t be without Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream and Nuxe Reve de Miel, both essential for dry chapped skin.
For tools my favourites have been my Real Technique Brushes and sponge, I can’t wait to try some more this year! I have been loving the Juicy Couture perfumes this year and my go-to tan has been the He-shi Express Liquid Tan.
Although I’ve done a whole nail polish about my favourite nail polish colours my other favourite nail products are the Bourjois 1 Second Magic Nail polish remover which must be one of my must used beauty products of the whole year. Butter London Melt Away has also been a life saviour for my nails and I’ve been using it regularly for months.
Which products were your favourite in 2013?
I'm absolutely in love with Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream. I only use it for my dry lips, do you use it anywhere else? I've been tempted to use it on my elbows and knees but due to the large price tag, I'm trying to limit myself!

I have yet to try the Emma Hardy cleanser but I've heard such great things about it. I agree that Batiste is the best! I have tried many but I just keep going back to it.

Clarins Blue Orchid Facial Oil is definitely my favourite product of 2013, it has done wonders for my dehydrated skin!
I really want to try both the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm and Moroccan Oil. (Technically I've tried Moroccan Oil I just haven't splurged for a full bottle). Glad to hear you liked both products enough to include them in your yearly favorites!

i've also been really liking juicy perfumes this year (specifically le Fleur), they've really stepped up their game lately! and i've also been doing lots of research about exfoliating toners… i'm debating between the clarins one you've mentioned here and the Ren one. they both seem really good!

I must try that liquid tan. The ST. Tropez isn't cutting it for me anymore.
