Drugstore Week Round up

drugstore favesSo drugstore week has come to a close, I do have one more video to upload but it requires me recording a voice over and I have a cold so I’m going to try to postpone to a time where I have a slightly less nasally voice.

I really enjoyed forcing myself back into the drugstore and have discovered so many great products in doing so. A few years back whilst I was still a student this blog was focused almost fully on drugstore makeup but as my blog grew and as I became an adult (and got a job) I seemed to move on to higher end products which often feel more luxurious but there are some real treasures to be found in Boots and Superdrugs.

My top new discoveries of this week have been the Maybelline Brow Satin which I have used every day since discovering it and the Sleek Matte Me Lipstick in Birthday Suit.

When filming my new video (out later this video) I had a good rummage through my collection and made some great re-discoveries. The L’Oreal Glam Bronze is the perfect winter bronzer, adding just the perfect amount of warmth to the face. I also used the Seventeen Eyes On Me palette in Birthday Suit and turns out it has some truly beautiful, creamy colours (I didn’t try the creams shadows though).

The Revlon Ultra HD Matte Me Lip Colors are out in March and I’m so glad that you guys seem to be as excited as I am (Swatches here).

I’ve embedded all my #drugstoreweek videos below incase you haven’t had a chance to watch them all yet but don’t forget to check out My Guide to the UK Drugstore.

I’m thinking of making Drugstore week a regular thing, maybe every 3 months or so- let me know what you think in the comments. I really want to share my favourite affordable brushes, as well as dive into drugstore skincare.

What drugstore posts would you like to see next?
