Christmas Gifts: Make-up Palettes

I think makeup palettes are essential at Christmas, they are perfect to give as gifts, to help you product your Christmas look and the more inexpensive ones are fabulous stocking fillers!
Umberto Giannini Painted Lady
This is palette is nice because it has a variety of colours and includes both eyeshadows and lip glosses. I also think the slightly grungy but still glamours image on the from is stunning!
£10 from Boots
 Strictly Latin Look Book
Surprisingly this is one of my favourite palettes, the colours are very wintry but still extremely wearable and it comes with eyeshadows, blushers and lipglosses. Its a perfect product to carry around in your purse and is great for someone less experienced in makeup as it comes with a step by step guide.
£10 from Boots
Studio Look Book Mini Smokey Eyes
If you love smokey eyes then you'll love this palette! It has four baked eyeshadows perfect to create a dramatic eye and includes a glitter eyeliner perfect for any party. Don't forget an extra coat of mascara for extra drama. Also I have a great tip coming up about glitter eyeliners and party eyes so keep an eye out!

Urban Decay Naked Palette
If you are looking to give a eyeshadow palette to one of your friends or sister then the Urban Decay Palette is essential as it has 12 basic eyeshadows every girl needs and they are all top quality! If they are slightly more daring try one of the other Urban Decay Palettes such as the Book Of Shadows.
£31.50 from most department stores.
Front Cover Air Kiss
If you are looking for an alternative to eyeshadow palettes this AirKiss palette by Front Cover has all the lipstick you would need as well as a step by step guide on how to apply them. I have written a review including swatches so click here for more information.

I love Sleek Palettes as they are just such great value for money, there is also so many to chose there is sure to be one to suit everyone!

  8. The Umberto Giannini's packaging looks so pretty! I wonder if the pigmentation, staying power, etc., is as good as it looks!

  11. Ohh I've never seen the Umberto Giannini palette before. It looks like a lovely design and colours I'd actually use. Although I'm never a fan of lip glosses in a palette as I rarely use them! Great choices.
