1. Measure and cut two 12 inch strands of chain. Join the two strands by attaching the jump rings. Attach the lobster claw closure on one of the ends.
2. Measure and cut two 36 inch strands of suede cord. Make sure your have your chain flat against a surface and pass the two strands under the chain. Fold the suede strands in half and make sure they’re equal on both sides of the chain. Knot the two strands an inch down the chain. I don’t knot the suede cord just below the closure in case I need to make some adjustments to the length of the chain once the bracelet is finished.
Begin to braid. Once you’re about an inch away from the other end, stop braiding. Knot the two suede strands. In this part, I like to use a little dot of glue to secure the knot because you don’t want it to unwind once you cut out the excess.
You’re bracelet should look a little something like this. If you want to add some glam to it, you can add some rhinestone strands to the mix.
