Just before my holiday I attended my boyfriends graduation ceremony. I wanted to wear some what of a classic dress, that was smart and formal but not too over the top. I was thrilled when I finally found this beautiful French Connection Dress as it’s very modern whilst still quite classic and very versatile.
It may seem a little pricey but it’s on sale for £96 and I love it! French Connection also has some other beautiful dress if you are looking for a party/event. However my favourite thing is their coats and jackets although they are a little pricey. The shoes I wore are my cheap and cheerful Primark black courts which are super comfortable and inexpensive (£11).
I finally graduate in November so will be looking for another perfect dress for myself and will possibly share some of the options with you soon. I know I’m going to struggle to find the perfect dress, it’s so much easier for boys who just wear a suit!

You look stunning! And are such a beautiful girl. I graduated in February and wore a long black dress with a v-neck, which I got a lot of compliments on. Now I'd maybe choose something else, but I don't regret it.

This dress is so nice! Definitely one I would have chosen. I can't believe that you've found a pair of Primark heels that are comfortable and not falling apart! Haha! Any I buy fall apart within a week that I get so disappointed by, so I don't buy cheap shoes anymore. Maybe I will have to take a look and see if they have a new collection worth looking at in Primark!
