My Pick of (non-beauty) Advent Calendars

If you follow me on YouTube or Instagram you may have seen that I have been a little Beauty Advent Calendar mad over the last few weeks. It seems every beauty brand has an advent calendar out this year and although I think they are fab, they are getting a little repetitive, especially if you’re getting the same brand as last year.

Which is why I have put together a little edit of my favourite non-beauty calendars for anyone looking for something a little different or taking a break from the beauty calendars this year…

If you want to keep it traditional with a chocolate calendar then the Quality Street one has really caught my eye and I have one in my living room, patiently waiting for December. I think most Chocolate advent calendars are great but I think Quality Street is a real classic at Christmas time, plus it’s only £3 (in Tesco) which is a real steal!

If you’re looking for a fancier chocolate calendar then the Milk Chocolate Advent Calendar from Hotel Chocolat is the one I’d opt for. I love Hotel Chocolat and I’m sure it’ll will be a dreamy experience every day but it’s still affordable.

For under £15 you can pick up a Mantel Positivity Advent Calendar which is made up of gratitude, motivation, knowledge, kindness and wellness doors. I think a little extra wellness is always great in December but I also love that this is quite a small calendar, making it great for the person that already has everything.

If I’m honest popcorn didn’t really excite me until I tried Joe & Sephs. Their whole range is delicious (perfect stocking filler!) but their Popcorn bites are out of this world! Sadly I don’t think there are any popcorn bites in the but there are 24 popcorn pouches in 12 different flavours, which all sound delicious and are all gluten free!

Although I did include the in my beauty advent calendar videos it’s very much a home fragrance calendar. If you are a Yankee Candle fan then this is a calendar not to be missed. It has 25 tea light candles and a tea light holder, with eight different scents and is under £25!

Most of us drink tea all year round but in the winter, especially at Christmas time, I’m always on the hunt for new and exciting flavours. Whittards has the perfect 24 door tea calendar at a very affordable £25. They also have a luxury calendar with over 90 teabags and a hot chocolate calendar for those who don’t love tea.

Although quite pricey and slightly novelty, the is great! This one is aimed more at men but to be honest, I’d be very happy with these 12 pairs of fun socks to wear in 2020!

There are lots of different alcohol advent calendars out at the moment, everything from Prosecco to beer and ranging in price too. For under £50 Aldi have a 24 day calendar filled with 24 bottles of white, rose, red and sparkling wine. But if Gin is more you’re thing then Fever Tree have the Ultimate Gin Calendar for £60, with 12 gins and 12 tonics.
