Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer

Last month I spoke about the new Make-up range by Soap & Glory and I got great comments which all seemed to be quite excited about the new products. I have been trying out all the products and they are even better then I expected.

My favourite product is the Kick Ass Concealer which is a three step concealer.

They say
Kick Ass™ Concealer is a three – piece flaw camouflaging kit that includes an amazing undereye brightening concealer, an ‘on the spot’ as-you-need-it complexion concealer, and a weightless transparent setting powder.

FLAW HIDE:
Smooth on moisturizer and eye cream, then spot-apply the appropriate KICK ASS CONCEALER shade on any misbehaving areas, red spots and/or dark undereye circles before setting in.
What’s inside that counts?

  • PUFFEASE – 8™ Complex Of Triterpenic Saponins working to reduce the fagility of capillaries & de-puff the undereye area
  • SUPERWEAR LIGHTSCRAMBLE™ Face Concealer
  • INSTA – FIX™ Polymer Powder Technology’
It comes in two shades Medium and Light which is probably the biggest negative. I use medium and am quite pale so this isn’t a product that everyone will be able to use but it is quite a new product so they may release other shades later on.
It comes with three products a setting powder, an undereye concealer and one for red spots, plus it is all presented in this pretty, practical and compact case which even includes a mirror and a sponge!

Both concealers have amazing coverage and go on like a dream! You are left with perfect skin but you can not see the product as they are so creamy, the translucent powder also does a great job of setting it!

Although I do think this concealer is a little pricey for drugstore I do think it is just as good, if not better than some high end concealers I have tried in the past. I would highly recommend trying this concealer and I hope that they bring out some darker a colours!

Available for £10 from Boots

It sounds amazing, I'm always on the lookout for a concealer with good coverage and quality… so I may definitely try this out when my Collection 2000 one runs out 🙂 I actually just bought Soap and Glory's 'Show Good Face' foundation yesterday, so I can't wait to try it out.

I'm really intrigued by this – what I hated about the Bobbi Brown creamy concealer was the fact that the powder (in the original formulation) was loose, so a nightmare to use in the pot and made such a mess. I'm loving that this powder is pressed and like that you found the coverage and blendability so good x

I dropped mine and it broke! 🙁 !!! The little flap on which the translucent powder rests completely snapped off so it's all gone a little bit awkward – at least the concealer isn't ruined! I find the powder – although officially translucent – actually a little too white for my liking. I'm not particularly pale at the moment so this is especially a problem. After a few more uses, I actually find Bobbi Brown's foundation stick to do a better job of concealing than this, and in a million and one different shades, it's better at concealing itself, too.

This looks good, and I like the name Kick-Ass as it seems like it means business! Will have to have a look at these.

I really want to try this. I normally use MAC or Benefit Erase paste (I do like a good concealer!) 😀 xx

I reviewed this the other day too and was really impressed with it. Completely agree about the creaminess and great coverage xx

Everytime I go into Boots I see the Soap and Glory make up range and I've always wanted to try it! My favourite concealer is MAC but I've always wanted to try Bobby Brown…£10 is a bit pricey for a "lower end" brand…but if it's as good as you say it is, then yeah it's worth the money! 🙂

    Fantastic post! 🙂

I use Make Up Forever HD Foundation. I apply a sheer layer on my skin but if I need to conceal anything I build it up to provide the level of coverage necessary!

I'm going to see if they have this in stock tonight and get one. I've run out of my collection 2000 concealer and my Bobbi Brown one doesn't work as well since they changed the formula.

I've been on the hunt recently for a concealer to hide my 'third-year bags' so might invest in some of this after reading your post! 🙂 xxx

I have just bought this! I have olive coloured skin so picked the medium shade and after trying sooo many concealers in an (unsuccessful!) attempt to find a concealer that covers my monster undereye bags I have hit the jackpot! Perfect coverage and no creasing, i can finally fool the world that I have had 8 hours sleep!

i bouht this after hearing such great reviews about it but i was quite dissappointed as it didnt really cover my under eye bags but just sat on top of them but i think that the idea was great to put the 2 concealers and a setting powder, the nme is great, the packging is awesome and its S&G for £10!
