My Christmas Beauty Wish List

Earlier today I was watching this video by Sali Hughes who is the Beauty Columnist at the Guardian and I realised exactly why I always tell people not to buy my beauty products as a Christmas Present. Sali Hughes suggests that when buying Beauty Gifts they must be ‘frivolous, luxurious and most importantly a real treat and I couldn’t agree more! I think that Beauty Gift sets are perfect for people who never buy beauty products or young teenagers that are just starting out but not for a beauty fanatic.
As a beauty blogger I obviously have an obsession with beauty and have lots of products to prove it! Although a gift set filled to the brim with body lotions and potions sounds like the perfect gift for me it isn’t, I see them more as a burden as I have no where to store the products. Instead I would like a luxurious product I would never buy myself simply because of the price. Sali Hughes says the best way to get something very luxurious is to get the least amount of things for the amount you want to spend and I think this is a great way to be sure you get something that will feel like a fabulous treat!

My Christmas Beauty Wish List

YSL Lipstick  £22
Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curler
Tweezerman Tweezers £20

If I don’t receive any of these for Christmas I will undoubtedly be treating myself to a few of these!

What is currently on your Beauty Christmas Wish list? What else do I need to add to mine?

I'm dying to get my hands on the Chanel highlighter powder that came out for their holiday collection, as well as the Burberry face brush – they both look amazing! Also, this doesn't come out until after the holidays, but the Guerlain Meteorites in Cruel Gardenia looks so fab! xo

Ive asked my sister for a MAC lipstick (can you believe i dont actually own one?! I guess I've never been able to justify spending more than £10 on a lipstick when i have 3 children to buy for). Ive asked for either creme cup or lady gaga's one.
Would love that OPI collection too!
    Good choices 🙂

This is a great list. I also really want a YSL lipstick, I've been trying them at the counters, and they're so moisturising on the lips. The Chanel quad looks amazing too, and oozes luxury.

I've also asked for an Estee Lauder Serum, because they are amazing (but can't justify forking out for one) as well as a few MAC brushes.

    Great post lovely! 🙂

I love that Chanel quad! Personally, I'm always wanted to try Chanel nail polish, but it's $20 a bottle.

Love O.P.I mini polishes and especially the fact that this set has their best colours!

I totally agree on the big gift packs. When I was 14, I would have loved to receive a dozen different body butters. Now, I'd rather just receive one that's ultra luxurious. Quality over quantity!

That opi set has been on buyapowa before(im just assuming you know what buyapowa is, if not then basically it sells products cheap!) and it's on the list of upcoming co buys so definitely look out for it! Think the eyelash curlers are on the list too!

I've been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
