Today’s guest blogger is Hannah from Beautylishious makeup and fashion blog. i was really excited to also get some guest bloggers which wanted to share some fashion tips and I love Hannah’s style. I’m not too sure how warm it is where you are but Hannah has some great tips for wearing denim in the summer and some of which you could adapt for the winter…
Denim, one of the most versatile materials in the clothing industry is an essential in my summer wardrobe! Shorts, jackets and rolled up jeans are perfect for long, hot summer days, even though in England those are extremely sparse! These are my top summer denim outfit picks…

Denim jackets are a staple in most wardrobes, and are so versatile and easy to wear for summer. They instantly seem to make an outfit more daytime appropriate and add extra warmth if, like in England, the weather is ridiculously unpredictable! Just in case it snows in July!
Top – H&M Shorts – Zara Sunglasses – New Look
Black denim isn’t usually a summer favourite of mine, but these shorts are just so comfy I couldn’t resist! The studs on the back pocket are what makes the whole outfit for me, its ridiculously simple and perfect for throwing on to rush out of the house.

I absolutely adore the lace detailing on the first look and paired with a slightly more formal top, these shorts can be dressed up, as well as used for lazying around in the sun! The only problem with these shorts is the length, there is a little to much bum on display for my liking; be glad I didn’t do a back shot!
Coloured denim is one of my absolute favourite summer looks out there; my shorts are turquoise but there is no end to the amount of dyed denim out there, think every colour in the rainbow!
Double denim is always, always a tricky one to pull off, however I think the key is to never, ever, ever use the same tonedenim to avoid the 90s-esque Justin Timberlake look- just don’t go there! I also tried to break it up a little with a gold toned belt, to give the outfit a little more structure than just denim piled over more denim!
I hope you got some great tips from Hannah and don’t forget to check out Beautylishious here
