Christmas Yankee Candles

I got a little excited and got a few Christmas Yankee Candles this year. Eight to be exact and I am a little worried I won’t get through them all by Christmas!

Yankee Candles can be a little pricey if you want to buy a few different scents so this little sampler size ones are perfect. I picked up Red Apple Wreath which is a lovely spiced apple scent, Snow in Love which is quite a clean scent (I have when people say that!) but still remains sweet which I love and Merry Marshmallow which I have read isn’t a very strong scent.

Small Jar Candles are in my opinion the best size of all the candles. Just enough candle but not so much that you would get sick of it. I absolutely love Christmas Cookie which is quite a sweet candle but I’ve heard smells no different to the normal Cookie Candle, I also have the air freshener in my car which I love! Christmas Cupcake is also in the same family as cookie and I can imagine some people would find these simply too sweet. Christmas Eve is the most perfect Christmas Cinnamon Scent, something about it reminds me of childhood which is always lovely around Christmas time.

I got the medium size Winter Wonderland Candle which sadly isn’t my favourite scent although it’s pleasant it’s a little minty and oddly like a bathroom air freshener scent. I think for me these are a little too big unless you know you absolutely love a scent!

I found the most exciting one to be Red Velvet cupcake which smells exactly like a Red Velvet cupcake, of course. Since it’s the only one which isn’t Christmas themed I will be saving it until after the holiday season.

So far I have found Yankee Candles to burn far cleaner than I expected. I often find with cheaper candles that they will let of horrible black smoke and I haven’t experienced that at all. They do however burn a little quicker that other candles I own but that seems to be normal with cheaper candles.

I got mine from the Yankee Candle store in Westfield and online at The Scented Candle Store.

I love Christmas Eve, certainly my favourite. I don't like all the food scents that Yankee Candle seem to be leaning towards at the minute, but I need to get my hands on some of these others! Great post x

I've only got the Red Velvet that they class as 'Food' I'm not too sure how I'd feel about the rest either.

I only discovered Yankee Candles last year and I am a big fan. I've been thinking about getting quite a few new ones for the festive season and I love the sound of the Christmas Cookie & Merry Marshmallow, yum! And Red Velvet cupcakes are my all time favourite, so I will probably get that one too. Here is to a lovely smelling Christmas! x

That happens to me all the time, I think it's got a lot to do with the size of the candle XX

Oddly, don't think they're too strong- maybe it's because I've only lit the smaller one XX
