Looking Back/Looking Foward- Beauty resolutions.

Looking Back

I really have had a great year this year- someone told me being 21 is the best age to be and I think I might have to agree. I was blessed with three holidays; a short but sweet one to Paris, a relaxing break to Madeira and a long 5 week (best-ever!) holiday to Portugal.

Apart from that I finally graduated with a 2:1 in Marketing with Fashion which means I am finally done with educations, for now at least!

And I was blessed with amazing friends and family which made this year ridiculously fun!

Looking Forward
I really don’t want to sit here and tell you how I’ll lose 50kg by the end of January but I will say that I would like to travel a little bit more. Hopefully visit at least one country that I’ve never been to (I really haven’t been to many places at all!). Like everyone else I would also like to get a little healthier (I done okay in 2013 it lasted from Jan-July… Kind of) and maybe even try to be a little more tidy- which will be the biggest struggle of them all.

I have come up with some beauty resolutions:

Take Vitamins
My mum has been urging me to take some for year and I think I’ll finally start making the effort to do so as now everyone keeps telling me they’re important.

Upgrade my skincare regime
I feel like I am finally getting there with skincare but I just need to spend a little extra time and put in a little more effort to actually keep it all up.

Find the perfect contour
I usually have the mentality of why fix something if it isn’t broken so I haven’t tried an new contour since discovering the Sleek Contour Kit but I think it’s finally time. First on my hit list is the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting powder- which is your favourite contour product?

Try New Brands
I feel like the worst beauty blogger saying this but I have never tried Laura Mercier (actually I’ve tried a primer) or Bobbi Brown which seems ridiculous as they are both huge brands!

Stick to hair masks/face masks
I often forget the importance of a face mask or just how much difference a hair mask can make. This relates back to my skincare point, I just need to make an extra effort.

Find the perfect drugstore lipstick
I could probably name you lots of favourite everyday lipsticks from high-end brands such as YSL and MAC but I still haven’t found the perfect drugstore inexpensive one and as they are much more affordable I feel like I simply don’t have an excuse! I currently have my eye on the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks- what is your favourite drugstore lipstick?

I’d also like to thank all of you that have read my blog throughout 2013, have support me and followed me on all my social media platforms. Its really nice to know that you guys read my blog and I hope that you will stay readers throughout the next year as I am hoping to put an extra bit of effort in.

I hope you all have a great time celebrating the new year today and most of all I hope you will all make next year your best year yet. I hope you have a fabulous time surrounded by all your friends and family.

Lots and lots of love!
