Nars Ride Up to the Moon

Every now and then I get  reminder of how bad of a beauty blogger I truly am.For example I have never ever tried any Bobbi Brown products nor had I ever tried any Nars eyeshadows so naturally I was excited when this beautiful palette landed in my hands.

I won’t talk about the packaging as it’s just like the rest of the NARS palettes and we’ve all had/heard that conversation far too many time. The Ride up to the Moon palette is made up of six eyeshadows; five neutral browns and a dark, very wearable green and is part of the Gifting Collection.

The eyeshadows are quite small (1g) and only the top left colour, Argentina is LE to this palette. The eyeshadows were all beautifully creamy and work really well together, I even managed to somehow get all the shades onto my eye! I really love the green under the eye although it is so dark it almost looks black in all lighting.

The look on the right is a more day look but I darkened the eye and added a gloss for a more evening appropriate look. I used all highend products (sorry!) but I have included some of my absolute loves as well as a range of Nars products to go with the palette.

Products used:

Necklace from Lola & Grace

Although this isn’t a must have palette in my eyes it’s still a beautiful palette to own. Amazing quality and beautiful colour. Available at Nars counters (be quick as it was on the website two days ago but has disappeared) for about £32

I think the palette is stunning and I don't have anything quite like it! If you don't think this is a must-have, what palette do you recommend is? I am looking to get another one! 😛

I'd love this palette, I can't justify buying it right now though 🙁 Maybe I'll buy it in mind of reviewing on my blog – that's always a good excuse 😉
