Bourjois So Laque Glossy Nudes: Manicure Monday

A few weeks ago I wrote that I had found my perfect Spring/Summer polish which was a beautiful pastel Lilac shade so I was very excited to find Bourjois had also released a very similar one in the form of 15. Peace and Mauve in their so Laque Glossy. However I must admit I was very disappointed as it is virtually impossible to apply as it is very streaky. It required between three and four thin coats for me although after the second the polish began to get quite hard to apply. All that said the colour is beautiful and glossy, it’s one of those colours that really brightens up your day.

After the not so get experience with this colour I was a little worried to try the other new shades I have 11. Indispen-sable and 13.Tombee a Pink but having tried some from the range last year (here) I thought it was only fair I give these a go.  Luckily these only needed a much more normal two coats and applied beautifully.

Bourjois have also released a Quick Dry Nail product which I haven’t had much of a chance to try but sounds promising.

These colours are part of the Bourjois Glossy Nude collection which launches in May.

I have never tried a Bourjois nail polish but I love the colours that you have. I for sure need to get the instant dry, bane of my life waiting for them to dry.

They are all so gorgeous. The middle one is unlike anything I've owned before so I think that's a perfect excuse to purchase it!! It's a shame the lilac needed so many coats as it really is lovely.
