Before coming away on holiday I was invited
down by Boots for an opticians appointment and to choose a new pair of glasses.
Boots are currently offering Protect Lenses as standard with all their glasses. We all worry about the effect the sun and UV rays has on our skin, Protect lenses help shield the delicate skin around the eyes as well as preventing squinting and eye strain which also reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and lines. The incorporate dual defence technology is on both sides of the lens for all round protection is anti-scratch, anti-glare and UV resistant. Protect lenses used to be £40 but are now totally free and come as standard with every pair of glasses.

Compared to my usual opticians I felt that the test was far more in-depth and although I found the glasses selection to be good I did struggle to find a perfect pair for me. However I did pick a beautiful pair of Dolce & Gabbana ones (Here) which have a very me leopard print design and I love the shape. Of course as a beauty blogger I love that it helps combat wrinkles especially now in the summer when I need a little more help than just eye creams.
What do you think of my new glasses?
do these have a prescription in? as I would love to wear glasses but I dont actually need them!

They're gorgeous! Such a fab shape for you!

These really suit you! I found when I had my eyes tested at Boots opticians they did do a far better test than my previous opticians and my test was far more in depth too. I enjoy the idea of buying glasses but I have never found the perfect pair for me so I stick to daily contact lenses!
