5 Affordable Skincare Picks

If there is one thing I like to splurge a little on it’s skincare, as I think it usually does the job a little better but there are a few drugstore products I absolutely love and reach for as much as my highend lotions and potions.

Garnier Micellar Water, £3.33
I actually hate almost every miscellar water I have ever tried, they dehydrate my skin but the Garnier one doesn’t affect it at all so it’s my go-to when I want to remove my makeup before cleansing or need to touch up during the day.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Spritz £8.50
This has to be my favourite travel friendly face spritz as it comes in a lightweight plastic bottle but its great to set makeup and I just love the calming scent during a stressful day or in the evening. This product always comes on holiday with me as I find it to be the perfect refreshing product on a hot day.

Super Facialist by Una Brennan Intense Moisture Mask £8.99
When my skin if feeling dehydrated and a little irritated than this is the mask I always go for as I find it hydrates my skin whilst adding a beautiful glow too. I love that it is also very fast working, within 5 minutes my skin is rehydrated and ready for makeup.

Embryolisse Lait Creme £12.99
This is the perfect basic moisturiser when I want a no-fuss product that will still leave my skin looking great, it’s probably a little too heavy for an oilier skin but works great on my normal/dehydrated skin.

Superdrug Clearly Youthful Blemish Treatment Gel £6.99
A recent addition to my skincare regime, I apply it before bed on any blemishes that may have come up during the day and the blemish would have almost completely disappeared by morning.

Would love to hear your picks too…

The Garnier Micellar water has seriously improved my skin! I can't believe how long I used makeup wipes for – they're such a waste of money when you compare it to the number of uses you can get from that bottle. Will have to try out some of the other products too, they look lovely.

Best thing to spend a little on would definitely be skincare. I have used Garnier Micellar Water and it works marvelously. It’s cheap too. I’m searching for setting spray and Body Shop Vitamin E Face Spritz sounds amazing. Will absolutely give it a go. Great post. Sharon Elsie | diva-in-me.com
