5 Things to Do in London this Month (MAY)

I’ve shared London themed ‘5 Things to do’ posts in the past but I will be making it a regular feature the first Saturday of each month. Sadly I only thought of this on Tuesday and therefore I’ve missed the first weekend of May meaning this post is a little later than I would like but I’m hoping it will still be helpful.

1. Visit the new Lush Mega store in Oxford Street
If you’re a Lush fan then the Mega Store is a must, it’s three floors filled with all your bath, shower and body needs. They offer beauty treatments, a whole range of fragrances and so much more!

2. Attend an outdoor cinema
Rooftop Film Club opened earlier this month and although it is still a little chilly I had a great time. There are four locations in London, screening a range of films from Ghostbusters to Bridget Jones- I’ve booked to watch The Grand Budapest Hotel and am really looking forward to it. It’s worth booking tickets soon as they do sell out quite quick. If you do book tickets than they have a good selection of food and cocktails but I would recommend a jacket and a large scarf you can use as a blanket although they do also provide blankets- but it’s London so an extra one is always nice.

3. Explore the London canal
Start in Camden Town with a light lunch and make your way through Regents Park along the canal, through Little Venice and finish at Westbourne Park. If you don’t fancy the walk then you can cycle or there are also boat trips.

4. Go for Tea at Sketch
I love afternoon tea and Sketch London so the two put together is a must! They currently have the cutest Into The Woods Themed Tea with delicious cakes, sandwiches, scones, tea and champagne!

5. Head East
East London is the one area of London I should really explore. Take a trip down Columbia Road, Brick Lane and around Shoreditch.

Leave your ideas for June below…
