Finally Faling for Finishing Powder

I’ve never really got the hype surrounding finishing powders, yes they set my makeup, my eyeliner wouldn’t transfer and most of the times my concealer wouldn’t crease but I never loved the finish. It was always a little too heavy and just a little cakey until I discovered the and since then I haven’t looked back.

It’s a translucent powder designed to refine the complexion and reduce unwanted shine, it comes with a great little puff which really helps press the product into the skin without it being visible. It’s so finely milled that it isn’t detectable on the skin but still keeps skin mattified. The ingredients from Jurlique are also natural and although it does have a rose scent, it remains very pleasant and not over powering.

I was also surprised at how well it travels, the puff inside means the product stays where it’s suppose to be and the lid is so tight it can sometime be a little hard to open but means it won’t spill out everywhere.

It’s become my go-to powder and I haven’t used anything else since discovering it!

I'm the same, never liked the finish of powders, this sounds right up my street though.

I never used to be a fan of them either because of my dry skin but I really like to use Nars Light Reflecting Loose Finishing powder. I may give this one a try once I run out.

I find using powders in a few areas (under my eyes, and around my nose mainly!) works well and looks natural (:

I love a good finishing powder, they last for ages and if you choose the right one they complete your look. I love my Chanel one but am open to trying out something new 🙂

I have been searching for a finishing powder that actually works for so long! I have oily skin so a product that actually reduces shine is a godsend. I will have to invest in this one 🙂

I don't like to use setting powders either. I normally only set my concealer under my eyes with a powder, then use a setting spray for the rest of my makeup! I need a white translucent powder like this, though.

I have never tried finishing powders but upon seeing this, I think I wanna give it a go. I also like that its container is tight enough which will not mess up in your bag.

I really wanted to try this but then I checked the ingredients and discovered that it actually contains lavender, which I think is quite unusual for a powder, but I'm allergic to lavender and so wouldn't be able to use it x
