I’m currently working on something which is making me lose sleep every night (more on that later) so I have been trying hard to make my skin look presentable and more awake.
I always like to start and finish the day with a good cleanser, I’ve spoken about it quite a bit recently but I find that theis my go to when my skin need some TLC. I love it in the evening as I can really use it for a facial massage but in the morning it’s great to really get the bloody flowing and feed the skin too.
I then likeas I find it to be lightweight but also hydrating and luminous which helps create a wide-awake glow. If my skin feels particularly dehydrated and I want light coverage foundation then I have been mixing with my as I find it leaves a beautiful healthy looking dewy finish and light coverage.
Although it’s tempting to pack on the makeup when I’m tried I find that it can quickly look cakey and make me look even more tired. I’m looking to buy a corrector (recommendations below please) but have recently just been covering circles and blemishes with as I find it’s creamy but also offers nice coverage. I also find that curling my eyelashes and a good lashing of mascara to really help define and open up the eyes.
Hoping my routine holds up over the next few days before I have time to get my beauty sleep…
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is great, definitely my go-foundation – especially when my skin is looking a little worse for wear. I've been dying to try the Clarins Instant Concealer for ages, it sounds like a great all around concealer! Great post 🙂

That's the first time I've heard of that Clinique moisturizer! I hope you get more sleep soon – working on little sleep is SO hard.

I really want to try some of the Clinique skincare range – especially their moisturizer. I've heard all great things about it. To help hide my tired skin I love to exfoliate or use one of the fresh face masks from Lush.
Best wishes,

I like using brightening mask or serum with vitamin c to lift my skin. For more awake look try using a little more blush then usual in pink shade and it's nice to pared it with brightening lipstick color of your choice that does a trick of lifting the whole look.

This sounds like such a lovely makeup look, especially with all the hydrating products underneath to make your face look even more radiant! Clarins Instant Concealer is a favourite of mine, although recently I have been reaching for my Urban Decay concealer!
