Daytime Vampy Lip

I’ve really fallen for MAC lipsticks recently and have bought quite a few but the one I haven’t stopped wearing has to be Amorous. It isn’t one which I hear too much about but it’s the most perfect slightly vampy shade for the daytime which is why it hasn’t left my handbag.

MAC has some great Vampy shades; Diva, Cyber, Rebel and so many more but most are quite dark and many are matte too, making them a little too harsh for daytime for me. However I find that Amorous isn’t too dark and since it’s a satin finish is really wearable. It’s a brown/plum which is a beautiful formula that fades evening but last for longer than most and a really flattering shade.

It looks beautiful during the day but also in the evening. It can be darkened up easily using a matching lip liner or even patted into the lip to add just a sheer, stain to the lip but I usually just use it straight out of the bullet and love it!
